Concerning the prophets: My heart is broken within me; all my bones tremble. I am like a drunken man, like a strong man overcome by wine, because of the Lord and his holy words.

Here is my message about the prophets. My heart is broken inside me. All my bones tremble with fear. I am like a man who is drunk. I am like a strong man who has had too much wine. That’s what the Lord’ s holy words have done to me.

Concerning the prophets: My heart is broken within me; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, like a man overcome by wine, because of the Lord and because of his holy words.

My heart is broken because of the false prophets, and my bones tremble. I stagger like a drunkard, like someone overcome by wine, because of the holy words the Lord has spoken against them.

我既聞之、我體戰慄、我脣顫動、骸骨若朽、我戰慄於我所、我惟靜默、以俟患難之日至、犯境之民來、

我但以理昏迷、疾病數日、後乃起理王事、我駭詫此異象、無人明其意焉、

先知傳虛偽、祭司藉以操權、我民咸以為悅、至終爾將若之何、

爾饜我以苦荼、飫我以茵蔯兮、

故爾困苦、不飲酒而醉者、宜聽之焉、

爾使爾民遇難、以致眩之酒飲我兮、

昔我無律而生、誡至、罪復生而我死、

以色列之上帝耶和華諭我曰、我手忿怒之杯、爾其取之、使我遣爾所至之國飲之、彼必飲之、搖曳顚狂、因我使鋒刃入於其中也、我則由耶和華手取杯、使其遣我所至之國飲之、即耶路撒冷、猶大諸邑、及其君王牧伯、俾邑荒蕪、令人駭異、被嗤笑、服呪詛、有如今日、

爾其愕然驚異、瞀然目盲、沈醉不因清酒、蹁躚非以醇醪、

願我首為水泉、我目為淚源、則可為我被戮之民女、旦夕哭泣、

老者少者、處子孩提婦女、盡行殺戮、惟有印誌者勿近之、自我聖所為始、遂自室前之老者始焉、

爾聞我指此地、與其居民所言、必為荒墟、而受呪詛、乃中心柔順、自卑於耶和華前、裂衣哭泣、我俞允爾、耶和華言之矣、我必使爾安然入墓、歸爾列祖、我將降於此地之災、爾不目擊、使者復命於王、

禍哉、以法蓮醉者高傲之冠冕、及其美飾之殘花、在膏腴山谷之上、其民沉湎於酒、

爾其以是言語之曰、我目流涕、晝夜不息、我民處女、大見摧殘、而受重傷、我若往於田、則見為刃所戮者、我若入於邑、則見因饑而病者、先知祭司、遊於未識之地、○
