“ Am I a God who is only near”— this is the LORD’s declaration—“ and not a God who is far away?

耶和华说：“我岂为近处的神呢？不也为远处的神吗？”

我是靠近你们的上帝，不是遥远的上帝，不是吗？这是耶和华说的。

我是靠近你们的神，不是遥远的神，不是吗？这是耶和华说的。

耶和华说：“我是无处不在的上帝。”

难道我只是近处的神吗？不也是远处的神吗？”这是耶和华的宣告。

耶和華說：「我豈為近處的神呢？不也為遠處的神嗎？」

我是靠近你們的上帝，不是遙遠的上帝，不是嗎？這是耶和華說的。

我是靠近你們的神，不是遙遠的神，不是嗎？這是耶和華說的。

耶和華說：「我是無處不在的上帝。」

難道我只是近處的神嗎？不也是遠處的神嗎？”這是耶和華的宣告。

永恆主發神諭說：『我，難道我只是近處的上帝？不也是遠處的上帝麼？

耶和華曰、我為上帝、豈知近而不知遠乎、

耶和華又曰、我為上帝、無間遐邇。

主曰、我為天主、豈獨鑒察近事乎、不亦鑒察遠事乎、

“ Am I only a God nearby,” declares the Lord,“ and not a God far away?

“ Am I only a God who is nearby?” announces the Lord.“ Am I not a God who is also far away?

“ Am I a God at hand, declares the Lord, and not a God far away?

Am I a God who is only close at hand?” says the Lord.“ No, I am far away at the same time.

“ Am I a God who is near,” declares the Lord,“ And not a God far off?

“ Am I a God near at hand,” says the Lord,“ And not a God afar off?

Am I a God at hand, saith Jehovah, and not a God afar off?

“ Am I a God who is only near”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ and not a God who is far away?

[ Am] I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off?

Do you people think that I am some local deity and not the transcendent God?” the LORD asks.

“ Am I a God at hand,” says Yahweh,“ and not a God afar off?

LORD, you have searched me and known me.You know when I sit down and when I stand up; you understand my thoughts from far away.You observe my travels and my rest; you are aware of all my ways.Before a word is on my tongue, you know all about it, LORD.You have encircled me; you have placed your hand on me.This wondrous knowledge is beyond me. It is lofty; I am unable to reach it.Where can I go to escape your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence?If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I make my bed in Sheol, you are there.If I fly on the wings of the dawn and settle down on the western horizon,even there your hand will lead me; your right hand will hold on to me.

Now the king of Aram’s servants said to him,“ Their gods are gods of the hill country. That’s why they were stronger than we were. Instead, we should fight with them on the plain; then we will certainly be stronger than they are.

Jonah got up to flee to Tarshish from the LORD’s presence. He went down to Joppa and found a ship going to Tarshish. He paid the fare and went down into it to go with them to Tarshish from the LORD’s presence.But the LORD threw a great wind onto the sea, and such a great storm arose on the sea that the ship threatened to break apart.

“‘ When you say,“ Let’s be like the nations, like the clans of other countries, serving wood and stone,” what you have in mind will never happen.As I live— the declaration of the Lord GOD— I will reign over you with a strong hand, an outstretched arm, and outpoured wrath.I will bring you from the peoples and gather you from the countries where you were scattered, with a strong hand, an outstretched arm, and outpoured wrath.I will lead you into the wilderness of the peoples and enter into judgment with you there face to face.

Who is like the LORD our God— the one enthroned on high,

Then the man of God approached and said to the king of Israel,“ This is what the LORD says:‘ Because the Arameans have said,“ The LORD is a god of the mountains and not a god of the valleys,” I will hand over all this whole huge army to you. Then you will know that I am the LORD.’”
