And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible: They commit adultery and live a lie. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that not one of them turns from their wickedness. They are all like Sodom to me; the people of Jerusalem are like Gomorrah.”

I have also seen something horrible among Jerusalem’s prophets. They are not faithful to me. They are not living by the truth. They strengthen the hands of those who do evil. So not one of them turns from their sinful ways. All of them are like the people of Sodom to me. They are just like the people of Gomorrah.”

But in the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies; they strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns from his evil; all of them have become like Sodom to me, and its inhabitants like Gomorrah.”

But now I see that the prophets of Jerusalem are even worse! They commit adultery and love dishonesty. They encourage those who are doing evil so that no one turns away from their sins. These prophets are as wicked as the people of Sodom and Gomorrah once were.”

Among the prophets of Jerusalem also I saw a horrible thing: They commit adultery and walk in lies. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, and none turns his back on evil. They are all like Sodom to me; Jerusalem’s residents are like Gomorrah.

I consider all of them as bad as the people of Sodom, and the citizens of Jerusalem as bad as the people of Gomorrah.

In the prophets of Jerusalem I have also seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one returns from his wickedness. They have all become to me as Sodom, and its inhabitants as Gomorrah.”

民曰、如萬有之主耶和華、不俾我眾猶有孑遺、則必若所多馬、蛾摩拉矣。曰、爾曹與所多馬之君長、蛾摩拉之民人無異、宜聽上帝耶和華之命。

因彼作惡於以色列族、淫人婦女。又藉我名、誘惑民人、違予所命、我耶和華鑒察之矣。

偽先知同謀、若獅狂吼、斷傷人、吞噬人、得其珍寶、使邑中嫠婦不可勝數、

長者聽訟、為納苞苴、祭司訓民、惟望賞賚、先知圖利、而言未來事、然眾恃耶和華自謂耶和華左右我、必不遘災、

其葡萄樹屬所多馬、由蛾摩拉埔而來、所結之實甚毒、纍然而垂者甚苦。

耶和華曰、維彼先知、託我之名、普傳妄誕、我未嘗遣之、亦未嘗降諭、彼所言者、虛偽之異象、無憑之卜筮、中心所思之幻境。

耶和華曰、所多馬蛾摩拉罪惡貫盈、聲聞於上。

又曰、凡先知未奉我命、託言有夢、傳之於人、以厥妄誕、使民舛謬、有損於眾者、我必降罰。

其先知驕泰誕妄、其祭司污衊聖所、違背法度、

譬彼古邑、耶和華滅之、始息其怒、清晨則聞呼號、亭午則聞諠譁、

國中所行奇惡、深可痛疾、先知傳虛詞、祭司隨聲附和、國民以此為悅、將若之何。

以色列族先知、中心思維、造為幻境、人子、爾當預言、後必降災、使聽耶和華言。主耶和華曰、彼偽先知、未睹異象、心有所思、而言虛幻、禍必不遠。以色列族乎、爾之先知、譬彼野狐。

作善者流、我不使之殷憂、爾述妄誕、使彼中心戚戚、維彼惡人、爾言必生、使心剛愎、恆作惡事、終不悛改、故虛偽之異象、爾不得復睹、無憑之卜筮、爾不得復占、我必救民於爾手、使知我乃耶和華。

吾語汝、當審判日、所多馬之刑、較爾尤易受也、○

故我耶和華曰、我視以色列族、有若處女、惟彼所行、甚屬難堪、即異邦人亦未有此。

惟彼先知、佯托我名、自言得夢者再、我聞其語。彼偽先知、從心所欲、普傳誕妄、伊於胡底。

屍仆大邑衢路、昔吾主釘十字架之處、其與所多馬埃及也、將毋同、

耶和華有命、使馬拉基普告以色列族云、

有人藐視予、彼託我命、言必獲平康、有人縱私欲、彼言必不遇害。

偽師於獸前行異跡、眩惑受獸印、拜獸像者、故偽師與獸、皆被執、生投火坑、坑有硫火、

凡梟獍、巫覡、淫亂、兇暴、拜偶像、好誑言者、出之邑外、

更相勸勉、造作偶像、曰、壯乃心、木工、金工、細工、粗工、無不相助為理、使金互相銜接、釘之以釘、不能搖撼。

所多馬人作惡、重獲罪於耶和華。

偽善誑言、喪其本心、如火銷鑠、

所多馬蛾摩拉二邑、上帝擬定其罪而滅之、變為瓦礫、以警後世之惡者、

所多馬蛾摩拉與周鄰數邑、同淫亂、荒於色、俱有常刑、爇之以火、以垂炯戒、

所視無非惡色、獲罪不已、厥必常貪、信道不篤者、為其所惑、如此之人、可以咒詛、離正道而迷罔、從破朔子巴蘭之行、巴蘭貪不義之利、為惡見責、有驢作人言、禁先知巴蘭之狂妄、偽師猶枯井、若浮雲、為狂風所飄、必遭幽暗、永世無盡、素有不為乖謬所囿者、今為偽師矜誇、虛誕、縱欲、邪侈所惑、勝我者、吾為之奴、偽師從惡、則亦為惡之奴、反以自由許弟子、

惡者之至、藉撒但力、其妙用異跡奇事、無非偽為、詭詐百出、自棄者為所惑、蓋彼不願受真理致得救、為此、上帝任其大謬、信諸誑言、

爾之姊撒馬利亞及其眾女、居於爾左、爾之妹所多馬及其眾女、居於爾右、爾視其所為、尚為細故、效其愆尤、猶為不足、更作不義、深堪痛疾。爾妹所多馬、及其眾女所為、與爾暨眾女較之、猶不為已甚、我耶和華固言之矣。爾姊所多馬、與其眾女、所犯之罪、即驕傲、饕餮、逸志、不恤貧乏、詡詡自誇、干我所痛疾之事、故我不得不去之。撒馬利亞人、蹈於愆尤、未及爾之半、乃爾較彼、多行不義、則撒馬利亞之過為尤細。爾責姊妹、適以取辱、蓋爾所為、較彼尤甚、彼之過較爾為輕、故爾當蒙羞抱愧。

伊昔民間有偽先知、如爾中將有偽師、私傳異端以害人、主贖之、而彼拒之、自速其辜、眾見有人聽從其妄、因而訕謗真道、

凡猶豫不信、可憎兇暴淫亂巫覡、拜偶像、言誕妄者、皆必受苦於火坑、坑有硫火、沒後之沉淪如此、
