I will hurl you and the mother who gave you birth into another country, where neither of you was born, and there you both will die.

年僅八齡即位、都耶路撒冷、凡十旬、行惡於耶和華前。歲暮尼布甲尼撒王遣使臣、取王至巴比倫、虜耶和華殿之珍器、立約雅斤叔西底家、治猶大耶路撒冷、

繫以鐵索、曳至巴比倫王、囚於獄中、由是以色列山、不復聞其吼聲。爾母若葡萄樹、植於溪濱、灌溉有資、枝葉葱蘢、株幹堅強、堪作長者之杖、可謂枝繁幹偉矣。忽拔其根、擲之於地、其果為東風所暴、枝幹摧折、遂致枯槁、焚之以火、乃移其根、植於無水之野、枝葉為火焦灼、燬其果實、無堅強之株幹、可謂長者之杖、此則大可憫焉。
