故必依其所行、而食其果、循其所謀、而饜其欲、

我耶和華鑒察人之心意、試驗人之衷懷、按其所行之途、所結之實、而加報施、

燬耶和華室與王宮、及耶路撒冷諸室、所有第宅、悉焚以火、

且焚上帝室、毀耶路撒冷城垣、爇其宮室、壞其珍器、

爇其茂林腴田之榮華、身心俱滅、勢如病者日漸衰頹、其林遺木無幾、童穉可記錄之、○

人子歟、爾其面南、向南發言、對南郊之林而預言、謂南林曰、宜聽耶和華言、主耶和華云、我必燃火於爾、盡焚爾木、或青或枯、其焰不滅、自南及北、灼炙眾面、凡有血氣者、必知斯火為我耶和華所燃、不得撲滅、

耶和華曰、時日將至、彼受割而未潔者、我必罰之、

主於錫安山、及耶路撒冷、既畢乃事、必討亞述王心驕之行為、目高之狂傲、

勿受惑、上帝不受侮也、蓋所播者為何、所穫者亦為何、播於形軀者、將由形軀而穫敗壞、播於聖神者、將由聖神而穫永生、

堅城荒落、為見棄之居所、闃寂無人、猶如曠野、牛犢牧於其處、偃臥而齧條肄、枝枯被折、婦至燃之、斯民不慧、造之者不加矜恤、成之者不施恩惠、○

爾藉臣僕侮主、曰我率眾車陟於山巔、至利巴嫩之深處、伐其香柏之高者、松木之美者、將入其境之極處、即腴壤之森林、

風箱猛烈、鉛銷於火、鍊之不已、終屬徒勞、惡者未除也、

故萬軍之耶和華曰、我必罰之、少壯必亡於鋒刃、子女必死於饑饉、

是日也、耶和華罰居高之諸軍於天、懲在世之列王於地、

我必使殘賊者、各執器械至而攻爾、伐爾香柏之佳者、投之於火、

利巴嫩歟、其啟爾門、任火焚爾香柏、
