萬有之主以色列之天主如是云、爾曾恃己名、寄書達於耶路撒冷居民、與祭司瑪西雅子西番亞、及眾祭司曰、

瑪坦子示法提亞、巴施戶珥子基大利、示利米亞子猶甲、瑪勒家子巴施戶珥、聞耶利米向民眾所言曰、

侍衛長尼布撒拉旦執祭司長西賴亞、副祭司西番亞、守殿門者三人、

有瑪基雅曾孫、巴述孫、耶羅罕子亞達雅、亞第業子瑪賽、亞第業乃雅希細拉子、雅希細拉乃米書蘭子、米書蘭乃米實利密子、米實利密乃音麥珥子、

約西亞子西底家、代約雅敬子哥尼亞於猶大地為王、乃巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒所立、

猶大王西底家十年、即尼布甲尼撒十八年、主有言諭耶利米、當時巴比倫王之軍、圍困耶路撒冷、先知耶利米囚於獄院、在猶大王宮之側、蓋耶利米曾述預言曰、主如是云、我將付此邑於巴比倫王手、使彼取之、猶大王西底家不能脫於迦勒底人手、必付於巴比倫王手、面審詰問、面審詰問原文作其口彼此對言其目彼此相視必將西底家擄至巴比倫、居彼待我眷顧之、爾曹雖與迦勒底人戰、必不獲勝、此乃主所言、猶大王西底家遂問耶利米曰、爾何為述若是之預言、於是囚之於獄、

西底家即位時、年二十有一歲、都耶路撒冷、在位十一年、其母乃立拿人耶利米之女、名哈慕他、西底家行惡於主前、效約雅敬一切所行、西底家叛巴比倫王、蓋主怒耶路撒冷及猶大、欲逐之於其前、

巴比倫王使約雅斤叔瑪他尼、代之為王、易名西底家、○西底家即位時、年二十有一歲、都耶路撒冷、在位十一年、其母乃立拿人耶利米女、名哈慕他、

侍衛長尼布撒拉旦執祭司長西賴亞、副祭司西番亞、守殿門者三人、城中又執統轄戰士之宦官一人、城中所獲王之近臣近臣原文作常見王之臣五人、軍長之繕寫、即招募國民者一人、城中所獲國民六十人、侍衛長尼布撒拉旦皆執之、解於哈末地之利比拉、巴比倫王前、巴比倫王俱於哈末地之利比拉殺之、猶大民被擄而離故土、其事如此、○

又有其族兄弟在殿供役者、共八百二十二人、又有耶羅罕子亞大雅、耶羅罕乃毘拉利子、毘拉利乃暗西子、暗西乃撒迦利亞子、撒迦利亞乃巴述子、巴述乃瑪基雅子、

約西亞子列於下、長子約哈難、次子約雅敬、三子西底家、四子沙龍、
