The priests did not ask,‘ Where is the Lord?’ Those who deal with the law did not know me; the leaders rebelled against me. The prophets prophesied by Baal, following worthless idols.

工師雕像、於製造者何益之有、鑄偶乃偽師、製造者恃此喑啞之像、何益之有、

先知傳虛偽、祭司藉以操權、我民咸以為悅、至終爾將若之何、

民牧冥頑、未尋求耶和華、故作事不智、其羣四散、

棄愧恥之隱事、不行詭譎、不混上帝道、惟表彰真理、在上帝前質己於眾衷、

爾名為猶太人、以律自恃、以上帝自詡、既習於律、則知其旨、且樂夫至善、自信為瞽者之相、暗者之光、愚者之師、赤子之傅、於律中有知識真理之模範、夫爾誨人、而不自誨乎、爾言勿竊、而自竊乎、爾言勿淫、而自淫乎、爾惡偶像、而自刧殿乎、爾以律自誇、而干律以辱上帝乎、上帝之名、緣爾受謗於異邦、如經所載矣、

如是因其未識父與我也、

彼將以爾律例教雅各、以爾法律誨以色列、焚香於爾前、獻全牲燔祭於爾壇、

我民緣無知而見滅、爾棄知識、我亦棄爾、不容為我祭司、爾忘爾上帝法律、我亦忘爾子、

爾曹奚曰、我乃智者、耶和華之法律在於我中、然文士虛偽之筆、使法律為虛偽、智者愧恥、驚惶而被執、彼既棄耶和華之言、其智維何、故我必以其妻室予他人、以其田疇付虜者、因其自尊逮卑、咸屬貪婪、先知祭司、俱行虛誕、彼醫我民女之傷、畧而為之、曰、平康平康、實無平康、

惟爾恃無益之虛詞、

必因其民不能裨益、而懷羞恥、斯民不為輔助、不為裨益、乃為愧為辱也、○

利盡天下、而失其生、何益之有、人將以何者易其生乎、

彼眾未言導我出埃及之耶和華安在、彼引我歷曠野、沙漠坎阱之區、旱乾死亡之地、無人經行、無人居處之境、

自午後至獻素祭時、託神而言、仍無聲響、無應者、無顧者、

彼諸牧者、毀我葡萄園、踐我業於足下、使我嘉業成為寂寞之野、

其口存真實之法律、其脣無不義、彼以和平正直、偕我而行、俾多人轉離其罪愆、祭司之脣、宜存智識、人當求法律於其口、以其為萬軍耶和華之使也、惟爾偏離其道、俾多人躓於法律、利未之約、爾亦爽之、萬軍之耶和華言之矣、因爾未守我道、在於法律、偏以待人、故我使爾成為可厭、眾民所鄙、○

爾未嘗識之、而我識之、若云不識、則誑如爾矣、惟我識之、而守其道、

諸國之神非神也、豈有易之者哉、惟我民以己之榮、易無益之物、

以利亞謂民曰、耶和華之先知、僅遺我一人耳、巴力之先知、則有四百五十人、

耶和華歟、爾為我力、我之保障、我難中之避所、列邦必自地極而至、曰、我祖所承者、莫非妄誕虛偽無益之物、

禍哉爾律師乎、以爾嘗奪知識之鑰、己則不進、而阻進之者、○

其勿偏離、從事虛偽、不能益爾、不能救爾之物、以其虛偽故也、

論眾先知、我心憂傷、我骨震動、因耶和華、及其聖言之故、我若醉人、為酒所困、斯土充斥淫人、因受詛而愁慘、野間草場枯槁、其人所行乃惡、其勢不正、耶和華曰、先知祭司、皆為侮慢、在於我室、我見其惡、故其行徑、將為暗中之滑地、彼必見逐、蹶於其中、蓋譴責之年、我必降之以災、耶和華言之矣、撒瑪利亞之先知、託巴力而預言、以惑我民以色列、我見其愚、耶路撒冷之先知、所行可憎、我亦見之、縱淫亂、行虛誕、而堅惡人之手、致令無人轉離其惡、彼於我前如所多瑪、其民若蛾摩拉、○萬軍之耶和華論先知曰、我必以茵陳食之、以毒水飲之、因耶路撒冷之先知、使邪惡徧滿斯土也、

蓋耶和華以沉睡之神注爾、閉爾之目、即先知也、蒙爾之首、即先見也、

斯人也、以清酒而搖曳、以醇醪而蹁躚、祭司先知、亦以醇醪而搖曳、皆困於酒、以醇醪而蹁躚、見異象則謬解、行審判則顚蹶、

我民蒙昧、而不我識、愚蠢之子、罔有聰慧、行惡有智、行善無智、○

田野叢林之獸、其來吞噬、彼之守望、瞽目無知、啞犬不吠、喜夢幻、好偃臥、貪寢睡、斯犬饕餮、不知饜足、斯牧不明、各趨其途、悉求利己、彼曰、其來、我將取酒、痛飲醇醪、明日同於今日、樂莫大焉、

以利亞謂眾曰、執巴力之先知、毋使一人逸、遂執之、以利亞曳至基順溪、殺之於彼、○

耶和華曰、民牧殘我草場之羊、使之離散、其人禍矣、故以色列之上帝耶和華、斥責養其民之牧者曰、爾既散我羣羊、而驅逐之、不加眷顧、我必依爾所為之惡報爾、耶和華言之矣、

以利二子、匪類也、不識耶和華、
