This is what the Lord says:“ What injustice did your fathers find in Me, That they went far from Me, And walked after emptiness and became empty?

耶和华如此说：“你们的列祖见我有什么不义，竟远离我，随从虚无的神，自己成为虚妄的呢？

耶和华如此说：“你们的祖先看我有什么错处，竟远离我，随从那虚无的神明，自己成为虚无呢？

耶和华如此说：“你们的祖先看我有什么错处，竟远离我，随从那虚无的神明，自己成为虚无呢？

耶和华说：“你们的祖先在我身上找到什么过错，以致他们远离我，去追随虚妄的神明，使自己变得虚妄呢？

耶和华这样说：“你们列祖在我身上究竟发现了什么不义，使他们远离我，随从虚无的偶像，自己也成了虚妄呢？

耶和華如此說：你們的列祖見我有甚麼不義，竟遠離我，隨從虛無的神，自己成為虛妄的呢？

耶和華如此說：「你們的祖先看我有甚麼錯處，竟遠離我，隨從那虛無的神明，自己成為虛無呢？

耶和華如此說：「你們的祖先看我有甚麼錯處，竟遠離我，隨從那虛無的神明，自己成為虛無呢？

耶和華說：「你們的祖先在我身上找到什麼過錯，以致他們遠離我，去追隨虛妄的神明，使自己變得虛妄呢？

耶和華這樣說：“你們列祖在我身上究竟發現了甚麼不義，使他們遠離我，隨從虛無的偶像，自己也成了虛妄呢？

永恆主這麼說：『你們列祖見我有甚麼不對，竟遠離了我，去隨從虛無神，而自己成為虛妄呢？

耶和華曰、爾祖視我有何不義、而遐棄我、從事虛無、成為虛妄乎、

耶和華曰、維昔爾祖、見我所為、有何苛政、故背逆予、崇事虛無、所為放誕、

主如是云、昔爾列祖遠離我、從虛無之神、行虛誕之事、曾見我有何不義、

This is what the Lord says:“ What fault did your ancestors find in me, that they strayed so far from me? They followed worthless idols and became worthless themselves.

The Lord says,“ What did your people of long ago find wrong with me? Why did they wander so far away from me? They worshiped worthless statues of gods. Then they themselves became worthless.

Thus says the Lord:“ What wrong did your fathers find in me that they went far from me, and went after worthlessness, and became worthless?

This is what the Lord says:“ What did your ancestors find wrong with me that led them to stray so far from me? They worshiped worthless idols, only to become worthless themselves.

This is what the LORD says: What fault did your ancestors find in me that they went so far from me, followed worthless idols, and became worthless themselves?

Thus says the Lord:“ What injustice have your fathers found in Me, That they have gone far from Me, Have followed idols, And have become idolaters?

Thus saith Jehovah, What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

This is what the Lord says: What fault did your fathers find in Me that they went so far from Me, followed worthless idols, and became worthless themselves?

Thus saith the LORD, What iniquity have your fathers found in me, that they are gone far from me, and have walked after vanity, and are become vain?

This is what the Lord says:“ What fault could your ancestors have possibly found in me that they strayed so far from me? They paid allegiance to worthless idols, and so became worthless to me.

Yahweh says,“ What unrighteousness have your fathers found in me, that they have gone far from me, and have walked after worthless vanity, and have become worthless?

They rejected His statutes and His covenant which He made with their fathers, and His warnings which He gave them. And they followed idols and became empty, and followed the nations that surrounded them, about which the Lord had commanded them not to do as they did.

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their reasonings, and their senseless hearts were darkened.

Those who are followers of worthless idols Abandon their faithfulness,

They have made Me jealous with what is not God; They have provoked Me to anger with their idols. So I will make them jealous with those who are not a people; I will provoke them to anger with a foolish nation,

Every person is stupid, devoid of knowledge; Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols, For his cast metal images are deceitful, And there is no breath in them.They are worthless, a work of mockery; At the time of their punishment they will perish.

Those who make them will become like them, Everyone who trusts in them.

Those who fashion an idol are all futile, and their treasured things are of no benefit; even their own witnesses fail to see or know, so that they will be put to shame.

Every person is stupid, devoid of knowledge; Every goldsmith is put to shame by his idols, For his cast metal images are deceitful, And there is no breath in them.They are worthless, a work of mockery; At the time of their punishment they will perish.

Indeed, you must not turn aside, for then you would go after useless things which cannot benefit or save, because they are useless.

Listen, you mountains, to the indictment by the Lord, And you enduring foundations of the earth, Because the Lord has a case against His people; And He will dispute with Israel.My people, what have I done to you, And how have I wearied you? Answer Me.

and saying,“ Men, why are you doing these things? We are also men, of the same nature as you, preaching the gospel to you, to turn from these useless things to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea, and everything that is in them.

“ And now, you inhabitants of Jerusalem and people of Judah, Judge between Me and My vineyard.What more was there to do for My vineyard that I have not done in it? Why, when I expected it to produce good grapes did it produce worthless ones?

You generation, look to the word of the Lord. Have I been a wilderness to Israel, Or a land of thick darkness? Why do My people say,‘ We are free to roam; We will no longer come to You’?

Are there any among the idols of the nations who give rain? Or can the heavens grant showers? Is it not You, Lord our God? Therefore we wait for You, For You are the one who has done all these things.

Then the Lord said,“ Because this people approaches Me with their words And honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me, And their reverence for Me consists of the commandment of men that is taught;

But they are altogether stupid and foolish; The instruction from idols is nothing but wood!

‘ This people honors Me with their lips, But their heart is far away from Me.

You have planted them, they have also taken root; They grow, they have also produced fruit. You are near to their lips But far from their mind.

“ Son of man, your brothers, your relatives, your fellow exiles, and the entire house of Israel, all of them, are those to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said,‘ Keep far from the Lord; this land has been given to us as a possession.’

“ Yet you have not called on Me, Jacob; But you have become weary of Me, Israel.You have not brought to Me the sheep of your burnt offerings, Nor have you honored Me with your sacrifices. I have not burdened you with offerings, Nor wearied you with incense.
