你必因自己的罪恶而受惩罚，因自己的背叛而受责备。因此，你要省察且明白，背弃你的上帝耶和华、不敬畏我是多么邪恶、痛苦。这是万军之耶和华说的。

爾之罪惡必自懲、爾之悖逆必自責、可知離棄爾上帝耶和華、不存寅畏之心、乃惡而且苦之事、萬軍之主耶和華言之矣、

萬有之主耶和華曰、爾犯罪違道、必遭刑譴、俾爾知、遐棄我躬、不畏我威者、必備嘗艱苦。

爾之惡行、使爾受刑、爾之違逆、使爾受譴、爾可知可見爾棄主爾之天主、不敬畏我、必至遭難受苦、此乃主萬有之天主所言、

Your wickedness will punish you; your backsliding will rebuke you. Consider then and realize how evil and bitter it is for you when you forsake the Lord your God and have no awe of me,” declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.

You will be punished because you have sinned. You will be corrected for turning away from me. I am the Lord your God. If you desert me, bad things will happen to you. If you do not respect me, you will suffer bitterly. I want you to understand that,” announces the Lord who rules over all.

Your evil will chastise you, and your apostasy will reprove you. Know and see that it is evil and bitter for you to forsake the Lord your God; the fear of me is not in you, declares the Lord God of hosts.

Your wickedness will bring its own punishment. Your turning from me will shame you. You will see what an evil, bitter thing it is to abandon the Lord your God and not to fear him. I, the Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!

Your own evil will discipline you; your own apostasies will reprimand you. Recognize how evil and bitter it is for you to abandon the LORD your God and to have no fear of me. This is the declaration of the Lord GOD of Armies.

以色列的狂傲當面見證他自己的罪；以法蓮必因他自己的罪孽而傾覆；猶大也必跟他們一同傾覆。

你所行所作的招惹了這些事到你身上來：這是你的惡果，實在真苦，直達到你心底。』

我必使你們的節期變為悲哀，使你們的歌曲都變為哀歌；使人人的腰都束上麻布，人人頭上都光禿。我必使這場哀傷如喪獨生子的悲哀，其末了、終如一天苦苦的日子。』

罪過向惡人心中深處發言；在他眼前沒有上帝可懼怕。

豈不是當永恆主你的上帝領你行路時，你的離棄了他把這事引到你身上來麼？

因此必有森林中的獅子要撲殺他們，有原野上的豺狼要殺滅他們，有豹子在靜伺着機會要攻擊他們的城市；凡出城的都必被撕碎；因為他們的過犯很多，他們對正道、轉離得很厲害。

我的人民偏要背道離開我；故此他們被派去負軛，沒有人能給除去。

所以他們必喫自己的所行之果子，必喫自己所計謀的到飽飫。

永恆主這麼說：你們母親的離婚書、我用來送她走的證件、在哪裏呢？或是說：哪一個是我的債主，我把你們賣給他呢？看哪，你們被賣、是因你們的罪孽；你們的母親被送走、是因你們的過犯。

永恆主發神諭說：連我、你們也不懼怕麼？在我面前、你們還不戰戰兢兢？我用沙做海的界限，永遠的定限，使它不能越犯；其水雖翻騰，卻不能得勝，其波浪雖匉訇，卻不能越過。

以色列啊，你要回歸永恆主你的上帝，因為你是因你自己的罪孽而傾覆的。

猶底念了三四欄，王就用祕書的刀將卷頁割掉，扔在火盆中的火裏，直到全卷都在火盆中的火裏燒盡了。王和他的眾臣僕、就是聽見這一切話的人、都不震驚恐懼，也不撕裂衣服。

他們眼中、並沒有敬畏上帝的心。』

『轉離正道的兒女啊，轉回來吧！我要醫治你們的轉離。』『看哪，我們來找你了；因為你才是永恆主我們的上帝。

唉，以色列倔強，猶如倔強母牛；現在永恆主要牧養他們像牧養羔羊在寬闊之地麼？

惡人自己的罪罰必捉住惡人；他必被自己的罪的繩索所纏住。

你們列祖卻不肯留心聽從，反而扭轉肩頭，使耳朵沉重而不聽；

他的骨頭滿有青年之力卻同他長臥於塵土中。『壞事在他口中雖生甘甜，他雖給藏於舌頭底下，顧惜不肯放棄，含住於口中，但他的食物在肚腹中卻要變壞，在臟腑裏卻要成為虺蛇毒質。他吞了資財，又再吐出；上帝從他腹中掏出來。他吸飲着虺蛇之毒；蝮蛇的舌頭把他殺了。

這人民為甚麼長久轉離呢？他們執迷着詭詐，不肯轉回。

永恆主對我說：『轉離正道的以色列比詭詐的猶大還顯得罪輕。你去將以下這些話向北方宣告說：「永恆主發神諭說：轉離正道的以色列啊，轉回來吧！我必不變臉色看你們了：因為我有堅固的愛，我必不永遠懷怒：這是永恆主發神諭說的。你只要承認你的罪孽，承認你怎樣悖逆了永恆主你的上帝，在各茂盛樹下向外族人的神東奔西跑，沒有聽從我的聲音：這是永恆主發神諭說的。永恆主發神諭說：轉離正道的兒女啊，轉回來吧！因為我才是你們的夫君；我必將你們從一城取一人，從一族取兩人，將你們帶到錫安。

當約西亞王執政的日子，永恆主對我說：『轉離正道的以色列所行的，你看見了沒有？她怎樣上了各高山，到了各茂盛樹下，在那裏行淫。我心裏說：「她行了這些事以後，一定會轉回來歸於我」；她卻沒有轉回來；她詭詐的妹妹猶大也看見了。她看見為了轉離正道的以色列犯了姦淫的緣故，我把她離出去，並且將離婚書給了她；然而她奸詐的妹妹猶大還不懼怕；她也去行淫。

如今我告訴你們我要怎樣處理我的葡萄園。我要把它的籬笆撤去，使它被吞喫；我要把它的圍牆拆個破口，使它被踐踏。
