爾之罪惡必自懲、爾之悖逆必自責、可知離棄爾上帝耶和華、不存寅畏之心、乃惡而且苦之事、萬軍之主耶和華言之矣、

萬有之主耶和華曰、爾犯罪違道、必遭刑譴、俾爾知、遐棄我躬、不畏我威者、必備嘗艱苦。

爾之惡行、使爾受刑、爾之違逆、使爾受譴、爾可知可見爾棄主爾之天主、不敬畏我、必至遭難受苦、此乃主萬有之天主所言、

Your wickedness will punish you; your backsliding will rebuke you. Consider then and realize how evil and bitter it is for you when you forsake the Lord your God and have no awe of me,” declares the Lord, the Lord Almighty.

You will be punished because you have sinned. You will be corrected for turning away from me. I am the Lord your God. If you desert me, bad things will happen to you. If you do not respect me, you will suffer bitterly. I want you to understand that,” announces the Lord who rules over all.

Your evil will chastise you, and your apostasy will reprove you. Know and see that it is evil and bitter for you to forsake the Lord your God; the fear of me is not in you, declares the Lord God of hosts.

Your wickedness will bring its own punishment. Your turning from me will shame you. You will see what an evil, bitter thing it is to abandon the Lord your God and not to fear him. I, the Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!

罪恶在恶人内心深处说话，他们眼中毫无对上帝的畏惧。

你这不是自食其果吗？因为你的上帝耶和华一路引导你的时候，你却背弃祂。

因此，林中的狮子必袭击他们，荒野的豺狼必残害他们，豹子也蹲伏在他们的城外，伺机撕裂出城的人，因为他们罪大恶极，屡屡叛道。

我的子民执意离我而去，他们虽然求告至高的我，我也不会拯救他们。

所以，你们必自食其果，因自己的恶谋而吃尽苦头。

耶和华说：“我休你们母亲的休书在哪里呢？我把你们卖给了我哪一个债主呢？你们被卖是因为你们的罪恶，你们母亲被休是因为你们的过犯。

难道你们不敬畏我吗？这是耶和华说的。难道你们在我面前不颤抖吗？我以沙石为海的界限，使水永远不能越过它。汹涌的波涛不能逾越，澎湃的海浪不能漫过。

以色列啊，你被自己的罪恶绊倒了，归向你的上帝耶和华吧！

王和臣仆听了这些话，既不惧怕，也没有撕裂衣服。犹底每读三四段，王就用书记的小刀把那几段割下来扔进火盆里，直到全卷被烧毁。

他们眼中毫无对上帝的畏惧。”

耶和华说：“不忠贞的子民啊，归来吧！我要医治你们不忠贞的病。”他们说：“是的，我们要到你面前，因为你是我们的上帝耶和华。

以色列桀骜不驯，如同桀骜不驯的母牛。耶和华怎能牧养他们，如同在草场上牧养羊羔呢？

恶人被自己的罪恶捉住，被自己的罪恶捆绑。

他们却不理会，背过身去，充耳不闻，

他的筋骨依然强健，却要随他葬入尘土。“他以邪恶为甘饴，将其藏在舌下，含在口中，慢慢品味。这食物在腹中变酸，变成了蛇的毒液。他要吐出所吞下的财富，上帝要倒空他腹中之物。他吸吮蛇的毒液，被蛇的舌头害死。

为什么耶路撒冷的居民一味地背叛我？他们诡诈成性，不肯回头。

耶和华对我说：“不忠贞的以色列比奸诈的犹大罪过还轻。你去向北方宣告，“‘耶和华说，不忠贞的以色列啊，回转吧！我必不向你们发怒，因为我充满慈爱，不会永远怀怒。’这是耶和华说的。‘你必须要承认自己的罪，承认背叛了你的上帝耶和华，在绿荫树下祭拜各种外邦的神明，不听从我的话。’这是耶和华说的。“‘不忠贞的子民啊，回转吧！因为我是你们的主人。我要从你们中间选些人带回锡安，每座城邑或每个宗族选一两个人。’这是耶和华说的。

在约西亚王执政期间，耶和华对我说：“你看见以色列的不忠不贞了吗？她在高山上、在绿荫下放纵情欲。我以为她放纵之后会回到我身边，她却执迷不悟。她不忠的妹妹犹大也看见了这事。因为以色列不忠贞，我给她休书，把她休掉。她不忠的妹妹犹大却不害怕，竟也去淫乱。

“现在，我告诉你们我会怎样处理这葡萄园，我要除去篱笆，任它被毁坏；我要拆毁围墙，任它被践踏。
