耶和華又曰、時日將至、人必不復以陀法便欣嫩谷名斯土、而以殺戮稱之。

緣此主云、時日將至、斯處不復稱為陀斐特便欣嫩谷、必稱為殺戮谷、

So beware, the days are coming, declares the Lord, when people will no longer call this place Topheth or the Valley of Ben Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter.

So watch out!” announces the Lord.“ The days are coming when people will not call this place Topheth anymore. And they will not call it the Valley of Ben Hinnom either. Instead, they will call it the Valley of Death.

上到欣嫩子谷，贴近耶布斯的南界（耶布斯就是耶路撒冷）；又上到欣嫩谷西边的山顶，就是在利乏音谷极北的边界；

原来陀斐特又深又宽，早已为王预备好了；其中堆的是火与许多木柴。耶和华的气如一股硫磺火使他着起来。

出去到欣嫩子谷、哈珥西的门口那里，宣告我所吩咐你的话，

对他们说：‘万军之耶和华如此说：我要照样打碎这民和这城，正如人打碎窑匠的瓦器，以致不能再囫囵。并且人要在陀斐特葬埋尸首，甚至无处可葬。

耶和华说：“因此，日子将到，这地方不再称为陀斐特和欣嫩子谷，反倒称为杀戮谷。因为要在陀斐特葬埋尸首，甚至无处可葬；并且这百姓的尸首必给空中的飞鸟和地上的野兽作食物，并无人哄赶。
