沿溪河邊、在河岸上這邊跟那邊、必生長着各類樹木、其果子可作食物：其葉子必不凋殘，其果子必不斷絕；每月必結新的果子，因為這水是從聖所流出來的；其果子必可作為食物，其葉子可作治病之用。』

你卻高舉了我的角、如野牛的角；你用油滲透了我。我親眼看到那窺伺我者遭報，我親耳聽見那起來攻擊我、的惡人受罰。義人發旺如棕樹，長高如利巴嫩的香柏樹。移植於永恆主的殿中，他們發旺於我們的上帝的院子裏。他們年老時仍然結果子；滿了汁漿、而長青翠，好宣揚永恆主是正直，是我的磐石：在他毫無不義。
