譬彼杜松、生於曠野、其地斥鹵、其壤燥烈、人蹤罕至、不沾膏澤。

因他必像沙漠的杜松，不见福乐来到，却要住旷野干旱之处，无人居住的碱地。

他必像沙漠里的矮树，不见福乐来到；他要住在旷野干旱之处，无人居住的盐地。

这样的人毫无福乐，像沙漠中的灌木。他要住在旷野中干旱无人的盐碱地。

必如焭獨人在曠野、不見福降、或作必如杜松生於曠野不見雨澤居於沙漠旱乾之處、無人居之滷地、

That person will be like a bush in the wastelands; they will not see prosperity when it comes. They will dwell in the parched places of the desert, in a salt land where no one lives.

They will be like a bush in a dry and empty land. They will not enjoy success when it comes. They will live in dry places in the desert. It is a land of salt where no one else lives.

He is like a shrub in the desert, and shall not see any good come. He shall dwell in the parched places of the wilderness, in an uninhabited salt land.

They are like stunted shrubs in the desert, with no hope for the future. They will live in the barren wilderness, in an uninhabited salty land.

He will be like a juniper in the Arabah; he cannot see when good comes but dwells in the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land where no one lives.

For he will be like a bush in the desert, And will not see when prosperity comes, But will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, A land of salt that is not inhabited.

For he shall be like a shrub in the desert, And shall not see when good comes, But shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, In a salt land which is not inhabited.

硫磺及鹽、焚燬徧地、不得耕耘、無物產、無草萊、如所多馬、蛾摩拉、押馬、西編、為耶和華所怒、而使之傾覆者、

不能飲甘泉之水、不得居酥蜜之地。

居曠野、處鹵地、

若不遁逃自救、必如曠野之杜松。

如屋巔之草、未拔而槁兮、無人刈之而盈掬、無人束之而滿懷兮、雖刈之束之、行路之人、亦不相慶、不曰、望耶和華錫以純嘏、介爾景福兮。

故我以色列族之上帝、萬有之主耶和華、指己而誓、摩押必若所多馬、亞捫必若蛾摩拉、荊棘叢生、斥鹵遍地、恆必荒蕪、我之遺民、必虜其貨財、得其基業、

王之近臣、告上帝之僕曰、如耶和華破天之隙、可得此、否則不然。曰、爾可目睹、惟不得食。○

語曰、維彼萑葦、非澤可生乎、維彼蘆荻、無水能植乎、青青之時、不待人刈、先百草而凋零。忘上帝者亦若是、偽善之人、彼所希冀、倏忽成空。

其身不得免於難、所生枝幹、為火焚燒、為風摧折。莫信虛妄、恐為所惑、彼所得者、浮而不實。彼猶林木、非時而被斬伐、不能長青。若葡萄果、未稔而先落、若橄欖花、雖開而早凋。偽善之人、家必蕭條、貪賄之徒、室必焚燬。

亞庇米力攻邑、竟日而取、殺其居民、傾其城垣、布之以鹽。

譬彼橡樹、枝葉已枯、譬彼園囿、灌溉無資、爾其似之。

王臣對曰、如耶和華破天之隙、則可得此、否則不然、上帝之僕曰、汝可目睹、惟不得食。所言俱應、蓋民蹴之於門、以斃其命。

其淤下之澤、依然斥鹵、

維彼惡者、猶之秕糠、為風飄揚。

惡者亨通、知草萌芽、轉瞬凋零、至於永亡兮、
