“‘ But if you listen to me, declares the Lord, and bring in no burden by the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but keep the Sabbath day holy and do no work on it,

“‘耶和华说，你们要留心听我的话，在安息日不可运货物进耶路撒冷的城门，不可做任何工作，要守安息日为圣日。

耶和华宣告说：“但如果你们真心听从我，不在安息日挑担子进入这城的城门，并且守安息日为圣日，在那日不作任何工作；

「『耶和華說，你們要留心聽我的話，在安息日不可運貨物進耶路撒冷的城門，不可做任何工作，要守安息日為聖日。

『但你們若留心聽從我——永恆主發神諭說——不在安息之日挑甚麼擔子進入這城的門，只以安息之日為聖日，在那日不作甚麼工，

耶和華曰、如爾諦聽我言、安息日、不荷擔入邑門、以安息日為聖、亦不操作、

耶和華又曰、如爾恪聽予言、於安息日不負荷入此邑門、乃以安息日為聖日、亦不操作、

主又曰、如爾聽從我、安息日不負荷入此邑門、守安息日為聖日、而不操作、

But if you are careful to obey me, declares the Lord, and bring no load through the gates of this city on the Sabbath, but keep the Sabbath day holy by not doing any work on it,

Be careful to obey me,” announces the Lord.“ Do not bring a load through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day. Instead, keep the Sabbath day holy. Do not do any work on it.

“‘ But if you obey me, says the Lord, and do not carry on your trade at the gates or work on the Sabbath day, and if you keep it holy,

“‘ However, if you listen to me— this is the LORD’s declaration— and do not bring loads through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but keep the Sabbath day holy and do no work on it,

“ But it will come about, if you give your attention to Me,” declares the Lord,“ to bring no load in through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but to keep the Sabbath day holy by doing no work on it,

“ And it shall be, if you heed Me carefully,” says the Lord,“ to bring no burden through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but hallow the Sabbath day, to do no work in it,

And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith Jehovah, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but to hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;

“ However, if you listen to Me, says the Lord, and do not bring loads through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day and consecrate the Sabbath day and do no work on it,

And it shall come to pass, if ye diligently hearken unto me, saith the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;

The LORD says,‘ You must make sure to obey me. You must not bring any loads through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day. You must set the Sabbath day apart to me. You must not do any work on that day.

It will happen, if you diligently listen to me,” says Yahweh,“ to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the Sabbath day, but to make the Sabbath day holy, to do no work therein;

Thus says the Lord: Take care for the sake of your lives, and do not bear a burden on the Sabbath day or bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem.And do not carry a burden out of your houses on the Sabbath or do any work, but keep the Sabbath day holy, as I commanded your fathers.

“ And if you will indeed obey my commandments that I command you today, to love the Lord your God, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,

saying,“ If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your healer.”

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge,and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness,and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.For whoever lacks these qualities is so nearsighted that he is blind, having forgotten that he was cleansed from his former sins.Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall.

Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food.

“ If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight and the holy day of the Lord honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, or seeking your own pleasure, or talking idly;then you shall take delight in the Lord, and I will make you ride on the heights of the earth; I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

When he sees riders, horsemen in pairs, riders on donkeys, riders on camels, let him listen diligently, very diligently.”

For if you will be careful to do all this commandment that I command you to do, loving the Lord your God, walking in all his ways, and holding fast to him,

“ And those who are far off shall come and help to build the temple of the Lord. And you shall know that the Lord of hosts has sent me to you. And this shall come to pass, if you will diligently obey the voice of the Lord your God.”
