萬有之主以色列族之上帝耶和華曰、斯邑及四周之民、強項不從我言、故所言之災、必降其身。

惟彼不從、強項難馴、掩耳不聽、剛愎厥心、同於鐵石、不聽法度、我耶和華、以我神感古先知、遣之告眾、惟彼不聽、故我萬有之主耶和華、震怒特甚。

子孫背我、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、如有人守我法度、則可保生、惟彼不守、故我自謂、必在曠野、震怒斯眾、滅之務盡。

彼退縮不前、我則誨之諄諄、彼則聽我藐藐。

爾強項塞心充耳之人、恆逆聖神、爾祖所行、爾亦若是、

我告斯民曰、爾當寅畏我躬、承我教誨、則不降罰、絶爾居所、然爾惟惡是作、靡有已時、

爾祖不傾耳以聽、縱其私欲、輒蹈愆尤、退縮不前。自爾祖出埃及之時、迄於今日、我數遣諸僕先知、訓迪爾眾、爾不傾耳以聽、仍強厥項、較祖尤甚。

我知爾剛愎性成、鐵項銅額、

然以色列族在曠野、違逆乎我、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、浸假有人守我法度、則可保生、惟彼藐視之、故我自謂、必在曠野、震怒斯眾、滅之務盡。

故當切指之曰、斯民不聽其上帝耶和華之命、不受訓誨、不言真實、

得明至道、得秉公義、

哲者聞此而增其學、明者聞此而益其慧。

惡訓言而不守、棄我道其如遺兮、

耶路撒冷人與、宜受勸迪、否則我厭棄爾、使地荒蕪、無人居處。

爾則告之曰、耶和華云、因爾列祖、遐棄我躬、不守我法、乃從他上帝、俯伏崇拜。爾濟祖惡尤甚、各縱私欲、不遵我命、

夫光臨世、而人作惡、愛暗過於光、此所以定罪也、作不善者惡光、而不就光、恐所行見責、循真理者就光、以彰其所行、遵上帝而行之、○

彼藐視我法度、不遵我禮儀、犯我安息日、心崇偶像。

曰、我不受教、藐視箴規、

宜承我教、明哲是求、過於羨慕金銀也。

我數遣僕先知、告爾云、當改爾惡行、革爾非心、勿崇事他上帝、則可於我賜爾祖及爾之地、安居無虞。然爾不傾耳以聽。
