因为我知道你是顽梗的；你的颈项是铁的，你的额头是铜的。

耶路撒冷啊，当受管教，免得我心与你生疏，免得我使你荒凉，成为无人居住之地。”

你就对他们说：‘因为你们祖先离弃了我，随从别神，事奉敬拜它们，却离弃我，不遵守我的律法。这是耶和华说的。你们行恶比你们祖先更甚，看哪，各人随从自己顽梗的恶心行事，不听从我。

光来到世上，世人因自己的行为是恶的，不爱光，倒爱黑暗，这就定了他们的罪。凡作恶的人都恨恶光，不来接近光，恐怕他的行为被暴露。但实行真理的人就来接近光，为要显明他的行为是靠神而行的。”

因为他们厌弃我的典章，不顺从我的律例，干犯我的安息日，他们的心随从自己的偶像。

说：“我为何恨恶管教，心里轻看责备呢？

你们当领受我的训诲，胜过领受银子，宁得知识，强如得上选的金子。

我一再差遣我的仆人众先知到你们那里去，说：‘你们各人当回头离开恶道，改正行为，不再随从事奉别神，如此，就必住在我所赐给你们和你们祖先的地上。’只是你们不侧耳而听，也不听我。
