人嘗詰予云、耶和華之言、安有效驗、任彼行其旨。

人常詰我曰、主之言安在、可使之效驗、

They keep saying to me,“ Where is the word of the Lord? Let it now be fulfilled!”

They keep saying to me,“ What has happened to the message the Lord gave you? Let it come true right now!”

People scoff at me and say,“ What is this‘ message from the Lord’ you talk about? Why don’t your predictions come true?”

Hear how they keep challenging me,“ Where is the word of the LORD? Let it come!”

Look, they keep saying to me,“ Where is the word of the Lord? Let it come now!”

Indeed they say to me,“ Where is the word of the Lord? Let it come now!”

Behold, they say unto me, Where is the word of Jehovah? let it come now.

Hear how they keep challenging me,“ Where is the word of the Lord? Let it come!”

Behold, they say unto me, Where[ is] the word of the LORD? let it come now.

Listen to what they are saying to me. They are saying,“ Where are the things the LORD threatens us with? Come on! Let’s see them happen!”

Behold, they ask me,“ Where is Yahweh’s word? Let it be fulfilled now.”

who say:“ Let him be quick, let him speed his work that we may see it; let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near, and let it come, that we may know it!”

Woe to you who desire the day of the Lord! Why would you have the day of the Lord? It is darkness, and not light,

knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires.They will say,“ Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.”

“ Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say,‘ The vision that he sees is for many days from now, and he prophesies of times far off.’Therefore say to them, Thus says the Lord God: None of my words will be delayed any longer, but the word that I speak will be performed, declares the Lord God.”

O Lord, you have deceived me, and I was deceived; you are stronger than I, and you have prevailed. I have become a laughingstock all the day; everyone mocks me.For whenever I speak, I cry out, I shout,“ Violence and destruction!” For the word of the Lord has become for me a reproach and derision all day long.
