then you shall say to them:‘ Because your fathers have forsaken me, declares the Lord, and have gone after other gods and have served and worshiped them, and have forsaken me and have not kept my law,

爾則告之曰、耶和華云、爾祖棄我、而從他神、服事崇拜、且背我、不守我法律、

爾則告之曰、耶和華云、因爾列祖、遐棄我躬、不守我法、乃從他上帝、俯伏崇拜。

爾則告之曰、主云、因爾列祖違棄我、從他神、奉事崇拜、棄我不守我法、

then say to them,‘ It is because your ancestors forsook me,’ declares the Lord,‘ and followed other gods and served and worshiped them. They forsook me and did not keep my law.

When they say this, here is what you should tell them.‘ I did it because your people of long ago deserted me,’ announces the Lord.‘ They followed other gods. They served them and worshiped them. They deserted me. They did not obey my law.

“ Then you will give them the Lord’s reply:‘ It is because your ancestors were unfaithful to me. They worshiped other gods and served them. They abandoned me and did not obey my word.

Then you will answer them,‘ Because your ancestors abandoned me— this is the LORD’s declaration— and followed other gods, served them, and bowed in worship to them. Indeed, they abandoned me and did not keep my instruction.

Then you are to say to them,‘ It is because your forefathers have abandoned Me,’ declares the Lord,‘ and have followed other gods, and served and worshiped them; but they have abandoned Me and have not kept My Law.

then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith Jehovah, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;

Then you will answer them: Because your fathers abandoned Me”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ and followed other gods, served them, and worshiped them. Indeed, they abandoned Me and did not keep My instruction.

Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;

Then tell them that the LORD says,‘ It is because your ancestors rejected me and paid allegiance to other gods. They have served them and worshiped them. But they have rejected me and not obeyed my law.

then you shall tell them,‘ Because your fathers have forsaken me,’ says Yahweh,‘ and have walked after other gods, have served them, have worshiped them, have forsaken me, and have not kept my law.

but they mixed with the nations and learned to do as they did.They served their idols, which became a snare to them.They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to the demons;they poured out innocent blood, the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood.Thus they became unclean by their acts, and played the whore in their deeds.Then the anger of the Lord was kindled against his people, and he abhorred his heritage;he gave them into the hand of the nations, so that those who hated them ruled over them.

Then people will say,‘ It is because they abandoned the covenant of the Lord, the God of their fathers, which he made with them when he brought them out of the land of Egypt,and went and served other gods and worshiped them, gods whom they had not known and whom he had not allotted to them.

“ How can I pardon you? Your children have forsaken me and have sworn by those who are no gods. When I fed them to the full, they committed adultery and trooped to the houses of whores.They were well-fed, lusty stallions, each neighing for his neighbor’s wife.Shall I not punish them for these things? declares the Lord; and shall I not avenge myself on a nation such as this?

But as for those whose heart goes after their detestable things and their abominations, I will bring their deeds upon their own heads, declares the Lord God.”

For the time that is past suffices for doing what the Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions, drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless idolatry.

Then they will say,‘ Because they abandoned the Lord their God who brought their fathers out of the land of Egypt and laid hold on other gods and worshiped them and served them. Therefore the Lord has brought all this disaster on them.’”

And they shall be spread before the sun and the moon and all the host of heaven, which they have loved and served, which they have gone after, and which they have sought and worshiped. And they shall not be gathered or buried. They shall be as dung on the surface of the ground.

“ Nevertheless, they were disobedient and rebelled against you and cast your law behind their back and killed your prophets, who had warned them in order to turn them back to you, and they committed great blasphemies.Therefore you gave them into the hand of their enemies, who made them suffer. And in the time of their suffering they cried out to you and you heard them from heaven, and according to your great mercies you gave them saviors who saved them from the hand of their enemies.But after they had rest they did evil again before you, and you abandoned them to the hand of their enemies, so that they had dominion over them. Yet when they turned and cried to you, you heard from heaven, and many times you delivered them according to your mercies.And you warned them in order to turn them back to your law. Yet they acted presumptuously and did not obey your commandments, but sinned against your rules, which if a person does them, he shall live by them, and they turned a stubborn shoulder and stiffened their neck and would not obey.

And they will answer,“ Because they have forsaken the covenant of the Lord their God and worshiped other gods and served them.”’”

Yet you have forsaken me and served other gods; therefore I will save you no more.Go and cry out to the gods whom you have chosen; let them save you in the time of your distress.”

The priests did not say,‘ Where is the Lord?’ Those who handle the law did not know me; the shepherds transgressed against me; the prophets prophesied by Baal and went after things that do not profit.

and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God by walking in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.All Israel has transgressed your law and turned aside, refusing to obey your voice. And the curse and oath that are written in the Law of Moses the servant of God have been poured out upon us, because we have sinned against him.He has confirmed his words, which he spoke against us and against our rulers who ruled us, by bringing upon us a great calamity. For under the whole heaven there has not been done anything like what has been done against Jerusalem.

And they abandoned the Lord, the God of their fathers, who had brought them out of the land of Egypt. They went after other gods, from among the gods of the peoples who were around them, and bowed down to them. And they provoked the Lord to anger.They abandoned the Lord and served the Baals and the Ashtaroth.

but have stubbornly followed their own hearts and have gone after the Baals, as their fathers taught them.
