I will winnow them with a winnowing fork at the city gates of the land. I will bring bereavement and destruction on my people, for they have not changed their ways.

你要簸扬它们，风要将它们吹去；旋风要刮散它们。你却要以耶和华为喜乐，因以色列的圣者夸耀。

我要差陌生人来到巴比伦，他们要簸扬它，使它的地空无一物。在它遭祸的日子，他们要四围攻击它。

因此，愿他们的儿女忍受饥荒，愿他们死于刀剑之手；愿他们的妻无子，且作寡妇，愿他们的男人被死亡所灭，他们的壮丁在阵上被刀击杀。

耶和华啊，你的眼目不是在寻找诚实吗？你击打他们，他们却不伤恸；你摧毁他们，他们仍不领受管教。他们使脸刚硬过于磐石，不肯回头。

他们纵然将儿女养大，我却要使他们丧子，一个也不留。我离弃他们，他们就有祸了。我看以法莲如推罗栽于美地。以法莲却要将自己的儿女带出来，交给行杀戮的人。耶和华啊，求你加给他们，加给他们什么呢？要使他们怀孕流产，乳房枯干。因他们在吉甲的一切恶事，我在那里憎恶他们。因他们所行的恶，我必把他们赶出我的殿，不再爱他们；他们的领袖都是悖逆的。以法莲受击打，其根枯干，不能结果，即或生产，我也要杀他们所生的爱子。我的神必弃绝他们，因为他们不听从他；他们必飘流在列国中。

恶人并不是这样，却像糠秕被风吹散。

“你要对他们说，耶和华如此说：人跌倒，不再起来吗？人转去，不再转回来吗？这耶路撒冷的百姓为何永久背道呢？他们抓住诡诈，不肯回头。

不要效法你们的祖先。从前的先知呼叫他们说：‘万军之耶和华如此说，当回转离开你们的恶道恶行。’他们却不听，也不顺从我。这是耶和华说的。

“你，人子啊，那日当我除掉他们所倚靠的保障、所欢喜的荣耀，并眼中所喜爱的，心里所重看的儿女时，

那时，必有话对这百姓和耶路撒冷说：“来自旷野光秃高地的热风吹向我的百姓，不是为簸扬，也不是为扬净。又有一阵比这更大的风向我刮来；现在，我要向他们宣读我的判决。”

“我降瘟疫在你们中间，如在埃及的样子；用刀杀戮你们的年轻人和你们遭掳掠的马匹，营中臭气扑鼻，你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。“我倾覆你们，如同神从前倾覆所多玛、蛾摩拉一样；你们好像从火中抢救出来的一根柴，你们仍不归向我。”这是耶和华说的。“因此，以色列啊，我要如此对待你；因为我要这样对待你，以色列啊，你当预备迎见你的神。”

你生儿育女，却不属于你，因为他们必被掳去。

‘你告诉以色列家，主耶和华如此说：我要使我的圣所被亵渎，就是你们凭势力所夸耀、眼里所喜爱、心中所爱惜的；并且你们所遗留的儿女必倒在刀下。

你身所生的，你地所产的，以及牛犊、羔羊，都必受诅咒。

你的儿女被交给别国的民；你的眼目终日切望，甚至失明，你的手却无能为力。

因为死亡从窗户进来，进入我们的宫殿，从外边剪除孩童，从街上剪除少年。

你在仇敌围困的窘迫中，必吃你本身所生的，就是耶和华—你神所赐给你的儿女之肉。你中间，连那温和文雅的人都必冷眼恶待自己的兄弟和怀中的妻子，以及他所剩下其余的儿女，不把所吃儿女的肉分一点给他们任何一个人，因为在被仇敌围困、陷入窘迫的各城中，他已经一无所剩了。你中间柔顺娇嫩的妇人，甚至因柔顺娇嫩脚不肯踏地的妇人，也必冷眼恶待她怀中的丈夫和自己的儿女。
