Have You utterly rejected Judah? Has Your soul loathed Zion? Why have You stricken us so that there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but there was no good; And for the time of healing, and there was trouble.

你真的棄絕猶大嗎？你真的討厭錫安嗎？你為甚麼擊打我們，使我們無法醫治呢？我們期待平安，卻得不到好處；期待得醫治的時候，不料，只有驚慌。

你是全然棄絕了猶大麼？你的心討厭了錫安麼？為甚麼你擊打了我們，以致我們無法醫治呢？我們指望着平安，好處卻不來；指望得醫治時，唉，反而受了驚嚇！

爾盡棄猶大乎、爾心厭惡錫安乎、奚為擊我、無術可療、我望平康、未得裨益、我期醫治、而受恐惶、

耶和華豈遺棄猶大、痛疾郇邑哉、奚擊我而不醫、我冀平康而有禍、望得醫而加傷。

主豈盡棄猶大乎、主心豈厭惡郇乎、何為擊我、使不能醫治、我望平康而反遭災禍、望得痊愈而反遇驚惶、

Have you rejected Judah completely? Do you despise Zion? Why have you afflicted us so that we cannot be healed? We hoped for peace but no good has come, for a time of healing but there is only terror.

Lord, have you completely turned your back on Judah? Do you hate the city of Zion? Why have you made us suffer? We can’t be healed. We hoped peace would come. But nothing good has happened to us. We hoped we would finally be healed. But all we got was terror.

Have you utterly rejected Judah? Does your soul loathe Zion? Why have you struck us down so that there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; for a time of healing, but behold, terror.

Lord, have you completely rejected Judah? Do you really hate Jerusalem? Why have you wounded us past all hope of healing? We hoped for peace, but no peace came. We hoped for a time of healing, but found only terror.

Have you completely rejected Judah? Do you detest Zion? Why do you strike us with no hope of healing for us? We hoped for peace, but there was nothing good; for a time of healing, but there was only terror.

Have You completely rejected Judah? Or have You loathed Zion? Why have You stricken us so that we are beyond healing? We waited for peace, but nothing good came; And for a time of healing, but behold, terror!

Hast thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul loathed Zion? why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of healing, and, behold, dismay!

Have You completely rejected Judah? Do You detest Zion? Why do You strike us with no hope of healing for us? We hoped for peace, but there was nothing good; for a time of healing, but there was only terror.

Hast thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul lothed Zion? why hast thou smitten us, and[ there is] no healing for us? we looked for peace, and[ there is] no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble!

Then I said,“ LORD, have you completely rejected the nation of Judah? Do you despise the city of Zion? Why have you struck us with such force that we are beyond recovery? We hope for peace, but nothing good has come of it. We hope for a time of relief from our troubles, but experience terror.

Have you utterly rejected Judah? Has your soul loathed Zion? Why have you struck us, and there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of healing, and behold, dismay!

Unless You have utterly rejected us, And are very angry with us!

“ We looked for peace, but no good came; And for a time of health, and there was trouble!

People will call them rejected silver, Because the Lord has rejected them.”

For when they say,“ Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.

There is no one to plead your cause, That you may be bound up; You have no healing medicines.

But when I looked for good, evil came to me; And when I waited for light, then came darkness.

Why is my pain perpetual And my wound incurable, Which refuses to be healed? Will You surely be to me like an unreliable stream, As waters that fail?

Also Judah did not keep the commandments of the Lord their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made.And the Lord rejected all the descendants of Israel, afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of plunderers, until He had cast them from His sight.

When God heard this, He was furious, And greatly abhorred Israel,

My heritage is to Me like a lion in the forest; It cries out against Me; Therefore I have hated it.

Is there no balm in Gilead, Is there no physician there? Why then is there no recovery For the health of the daughter of my people?

But You have cast off and abhorred, You have been furious with Your anointed.

But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, till there was no remedy.

Still our eyes failed us, Watching vainly for our help; In our watching we watched For a nation that could not save us.

How shall I console you? To what shall I liken you, O daughter of Jerusalem? What shall I compare with you, that I may comfort you, O virgin daughter of Zion? For your ruin is spread wide as the sea; Who can heal you?

Then the Lord said to me,“ Even if Moses and Samuel stood before Me, My mind would not be favorable toward this people. Cast them out of My sight, and let them go forth.

I say then, has God cast away His people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew. Or do you not know what the Scripture says of Elijah, how he pleads with God against Israel, saying,“ Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life”?But what does the divine response say to him?“ I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace.And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work.

Cut off your hair and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on the desolate heights; for the Lord has rejected and forsaken the generation of His wrath.’

Why have You broken down her hedges, So that all who pass by the way pluck her fruit?The boar out of the woods uproots it, And the wild beast of the field devours it.

I dismissed the three shepherds in one month. My soul loathed them, and their soul also abhorred me.Then I said,“ I will not feed you. Let what is dying die, and what is perishing perish. Let those that are left eat each other’s flesh.”
