Then Yahweh said to me,“ The prophets prophesy lies in my name. I didn’t send them. I didn’t command them. I didn’t speak to them. They prophesy to you a lying vision, divination, and a thing of nothing, and the deceit of their own heart.

耶和华对我说：“那些先知托我的名说假预言，我并没有打发他们，没有吩咐他们，也没有对他们说话；他们向你们预言的，乃是虚假的异象和占卜，并虚无的事，以及本心的诡诈。

耶和华对我说：“那些先知奉我的名说假预言，我并没有差派他们，没有委任他们，也没有对他们说话。他们对你们说的预言是假异象，是占卜，是凭空捏造。

耶和华对我说：“那些先知借我的名说假预言；我并没有差遣他们，没有吩咐他们，也没有向他们说话。他们对你们所预言的，是虚假的异象、占卜的预兆、虚无的事，和他们自己心里的诡诈。”

耶和華對我說：“那些先知借我的名說假預言；我並沒有差遣他們，沒有吩咐他們，也沒有向他們說話。他們對你們所預言的，是虛假的異象、占卜的預兆、虛無的事，和他們自己心裡的詭詐。”

於是永恆主對我說：『那些神言人是冒我名傳虛假為神言的；我並沒有差遣他們，沒有吩咐他們，也沒有對他們說話；他們向你們發神言狂的乃是虛假的異象、無用的占卜、和他們自己心裏的詭詐。

耶和華諭我曰、諸先知託我名而妄言、我未遣之、未命之、未諭之、彼之所傳、乃虛偽之啟示、無憑之卜筮、妄誕之言詞、己心之詭詐、

耶和華曰、維彼先知、託我之名、普傳妄誕、我未嘗遣之、亦未嘗降諭、彼所言者、虛偽之異象、無憑之卜筮、中心所思之幻境。

主諭我曰、彼諸先知、假託我名預言、我未嘗遣之、未嘗命之、未嘗諭之、彼以虛偽之默示、卜筮妄誕、及己心之詐譎、傳於爾曹以為預言、

Then the Lord said to me,“ The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds.

Then the Lord said to me,“ The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them. I have not even spoken to them. Everything they tell you about their visions or secret knowledge is a lie. They pretend to bring you messages from other gods. They try to get you to believe their own mistaken ideas.

And the Lord said to me:“ The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a lying vision, worthless divination, and the deceit of their own minds.

Then the Lord said,“ These prophets are telling lies in my name. I did not send them or tell them to speak. I did not give them any messages. They prophesy of visions and revelations they have never seen or heard. They speak foolishness made up in their own lying hearts.

But the LORD said to me,“ These prophets are prophesying a lie in my name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a false vision, worthless divination, the deceit of their own minds.

Then the Lord said to me,“ The prophets are prophesying falsehood in My name. I have neither sent them nor commanded them, nor spoken to them; they are prophesying to you a false vision, divination, futility, and the deception of their own minds.

And the Lord said to me,“ The prophets prophesy lies in My name. I have not sent them, commanded them, nor spoken to them; they prophesy to you a false vision, divination, a worthless thing, and the deceit of their heart.

Then Jehovah said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name; I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake I unto them: they prophesy unto you a lying vision, and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their own heart.

But the Lord said to me,“ These prophets are prophesying a lie in My name. I did not send them, nor did I command them or speak to them. They are prophesying to you a false vision, worthless divination, the deceit of their own minds.

Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

Then the LORD said to me,“ Those prophets are prophesying lies while claiming my authority! I did not send them. I did not commission them. I did not speak to them. They are prophesying to these people false visions, worthless predictions, and the delusions of their own mind.

They have seen falsehood and lying divination, who say,‘ Yahweh says;’ but Yahweh has not sent them. They have made men to hope that the word would be confirmed.Haven’t you seen a false vision, and haven’t you spoken a lying divination, in that you say,‘ Yahweh says;’ but I have not spoken?”

For Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel says:“ Don’t let your prophets who are among you and your diviners deceive you. Don’t listen to your dreams which you cause to be dreamed.For they prophesy falsely to you in my name. I have not sent them,” says Yahweh.

For there will be no more any false vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.

Your prophets have seen false and foolish visions for you. They have not uncovered your iniquity, to reverse your captivity, but have seen for you false revelations and causes of banishment.

“ Send to all of the captives, saying,‘ Yahweh says concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite:“ Because Shemaiah has prophesied to you, and I didn’t send him, and he has caused you to trust in a lie;”

who tell the seers,“ Don’t see!” and the prophets,“ Don’t prophesy to us right things. Tell us pleasant things. Prophesy deceits.Get out of the way. Turn away from the path. Cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.”

I didn’t send these prophets, yet they ran. I didn’t speak to them, yet they prophesied.But if they had stood in my council, then they would have caused my people to hear my words, and would have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.“ Am I a God at hand,” says Yahweh,“ and not a God afar off?Can anyone hide himself in secret places so that I can’t see him?” says Yahweh.“ Don’t I fill heaven and earth?” says Yahweh.“ I have heard what the prophets have said, who prophesy lies in my name, saying,‘ I had a dream! I had a dream!’How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies, even the prophets of the deceit of their own heart?They intend to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they each tell his neighbor, as their fathers forgot my name because of Baal.The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he who has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the straw to the wheat?” says Yahweh.“ Isn’t my word like fire?” says Yahweh;“ and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?“ Therefore behold, I am against the prophets,” says Yahweh,“ who each steal my words from his neighbor.Behold, I am against the prophets,” says Yahweh,“ who use their tongues, and say,‘ He says.’Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams,” says Yahweh,“ who tell them, and cause my people to err by their lies, and by their vain boasting; yet I didn’t send them or command them. They don’t profit this people at all,” says Yahweh.

Her leaders judge for bribes, and her priests teach for a price, and her prophets of it tell fortunes for money: yet they lean on Yahweh, and say,“ Isn’t Yahweh among us? No disaster will come on us.”

But as for you, don’t listen to your prophets, to your diviners, to your dreams, to your soothsayers, or to your sorcerers, who speak to you, saying,“ You shall not serve the king of Babylon;”for they prophesy a lie to you, to remove you far from your land, so that I would drive you out, and you would perish.

even he whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,and with all deception of wickedness for those who are being lost, because they didn’t receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.Because of this, God sends them a working of error, that they should believe a lie;

The prophets prophesy falsely, and the priests rule by their own authority; and my people love to have it so. What will you do in the end of it?

In the prophets of Jerusalem I have also seen a horrible thing: they commit adultery and walk in lies. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one returns from his wickedness. They have all become to me as Sodom, and its inhabitants as Gomorrah.”Therefore Yahweh of Armies says concerning the prophets:“ Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink poisoned water; for from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”Yahweh of Armies says,“ Don’t listen to the words of the prophets who prophesy to you. They teach you vanity. They speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of Yahweh.

while they see for you false visions, while they divine lies to you, to lay you on the necks of the wicked who are deadly wounded, whose day has come in the time of the iniquity of the end.

Don’t listen to the words of the prophets who speak to you, saying,‘ You shall not serve the king of Babylon;’ for they prophesy a lie to you.For I have not sent them,” says Yahweh,“ but they prophesy falsely in my name; that I may drive you out, and that you may perish, you, and the prophets who prophesy to you.”

The elder and the honorable man is the head, and the prophet who teaches lies is the tail.

It will happen that, when anyone still prophesies, then his father and his mother who bore him will tell him,‘ You must die, because you speak lies in Yahweh’s name;’ and his father and his mother who bore him will stab him when he prophesies.

For the teraphim have spoken vanity, and the diviners have seen a lie; and they have told false dreams. They comfort in vain. Therefore they go their way like sheep. They are oppressed, because there is no shepherd.

Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet,“ Listen, Hananiah! Yahweh has not sent you, but you make this people trust in a lie.

“ Go, and tell Hananiah, saying,‘ Yahweh says,“ You have broken the bars of wood, but you have made in their place bars of iron.”

Therefore you shall no more see false visions, nor practice divination. I will deliver my people out of your hand. Then you will know that I am Yahweh.’”

Now where are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying,‘ The king of Babylon will not come against you, nor against this land?’

through the hypocrisy of men who speak lies, branded in their own conscience as with a hot iron,

Yahweh of Armies, the God of Israel, says concerning Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and concerning Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, who prophesy a lie to you in my name:“ Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and he will kill them before your eyes.
