故我耶和華必降災其身、使彼不能逃避、彼雖籲我、我必不應。

香品攜自示巴、菖蒲得自遠方、獻我曷故。爾之燔祭禮物、我不悅納。

斯時籲我、而我弗聽、竭力求恩、而不可得。

故我怒憤烈、不加矜憫、滅之務盡、彼雖大聲籲呼於上、我必不應。

爾籲耶和華、而耶和華不復垂念、因爾妄作、棄爾如遺、

主耶和華又曰、我使四災降於耶路撒冷、鋒刃、饑饉、暴獸、瘟疫、使人畜靡有孑遺、其害豈非尤重乎。

萬有之主耶和華曰、昔我諭眾、眾不聽從、今眾籲我、我亦不聽、

俱遭慘死、無人哭泣、無人瘞埋、視若糞壤、亦有亡於鋒刃、死於饑饉、飛鳥走獸、食其尸骸。

我必於昔所賜爾祖及爾之地、戮以鋒刃、降以饑饉、斃以疾疫、滅之殆盡。

不聽律法者即祈於上、亦為上帝所疾。

耶和華曰、恆獻禮物、與我何與、爾燔牡綿羊、焚肥畜之膋、我所厭惡、牛犢羔羊、牡山羊之血、我不悅懌。爾來覲我、穢我帷場、誰命之者。毋徒獻禮物、若馨香、月朔、安息日、聖會大日、俱我所厭棄、爾守節期、又復為惡、故我不悅。朔日節期、我心痛疾、我視若重負而厭之。爾曹殺人、雖舉手禱告弗輟、我必不俯聞、而遐棄爾。

如彼詰爾當往何處、爾必傳我命、告之曰、當死則死、當殺則殺、當饑則饑、當虜則虜。耶和華又曰、我降四災於厥身、刃以戮之、犬以嚙之、飛鳥以噬之、走獸以滅之。

以色列族之上帝、萬有之主、耶和華曰、燔祭之肉、爾可食之、與禮物無異。昔我導爾祖出埃及、我諭以命、不第為燔祭禮物也、

彼曰、我已禁食、卑以自牧、爾不垂顧、其意何居、曰、爾雖禁食、乃縱私欲、威迫傭人。

流離列國、此國乃其祖所未聞、彼所未知者、我仍手刃之、殲滅務盡、

惡人之祭、為耶和華所疾、善人之祈、為主所悅。

耶和華曰、嗣後猶大王西底家、與邑中所遺之臣民、不戮於鋒刃、斃於瘟疫、死於饑饉者、我必付之於敵人、巴比倫王尼布甲尼撒之手、俾以鋒刃殺戮、不加矜恤。耶和華又告民曰、今日我以生道死道、置於爾前、凡居斯邑者、必遇鋒刃饑饉、瘟疫而亡。凡出邑外、歸誠所攻爾之迦勒底人者、則得保其生命。

萬有之主耶和華曾言之、曰、我必罰之、戮以鋒刃、降以饑饉、斃以疫癘、視若劣果、不堪適口。既以斯三者降罰其身、又必徙於天下萬邦、受人咒詛、不勝駭異、為人凌侮、時聞怨聲、

爾民三分之一、必亡於瘟疫饑饉、三分之一、必亡於鋒刃、三分之一、必散於四方、我亦襲之以白刃、怒既奮發、則雪予忿、使爾知予所言者、因熱中而言之、所行者、因憤烈而行之。我使爾國荒涼、如是之甚、四周列邦及過爾地者、無不駭異、共相姍笑。我怒憤烈、降以重災、使四方之民譏笑侮慢、以爾之事為可戒可異、我耶和華已言之矣。俾爾饑饉、日漸匱乏、絶爾餱糧、滅爾生命、如亡以毒矢、不第降以饑饉、亦使暴獸攘爾子女、又使瘟疫鋒刃、臨於爾邦、耶和華已言之矣。

惡人之祭且不納、況以詭譎之心獻禮物乎。
