全能之上帝、施報於惡人者若此。

異邦之民、不敬上帝、為惡之徒必歸暗府兮、

電光閃兮硫火降、災飆發兮報施不爽、

處女之簪珥、新婦之衣裳、無刻或忘、惟我民忘予、歷時已久。

加以極刑、置與偽善同科、在彼有哀哭切齒者矣、

彼崇他上帝、干厥震怒。彼事可惡之物、攖其忿懥、彼祭鬼神、不崇上帝、彼崇他上帝素所未識、初從鄰國而來、即其祖宗亦未嘗敬畏。生成之上帝、彼棄而不從、造化之上帝、彼忘而弗念。

爾曹自謂與死亡結約、與陰府訂盟、天降大雨、行潦汎濫、必不及於斯土、我惟誑詞是恃、而適以自欺。

工人雕木偶、鑄金像、俱屬虛偽、口不能言、作之者亦賴之、何益之有、木石不能言、有求其起而庇佑者、禍必不遠、維彼偶像、雖飾金銀、不通呼吸、焉能有應、

上帝在埃及行異跡、在含作奇事、在紅海彰厥威、欲手援斯民、民忘之兮、

惟彼偶像、崇之者愚蠢、鑄之者蒙羞、偶像偽物。內無生氣。

我民作二大惡、我乃活水之源、彼反棄予、器易敗漏、不得盛水、彼反造作。

有言虛誕者、三稱耶和華殿為可恃、爾勿信之。如爾改行易為、彼此行義、不虐遇遠人、不害孤寡、不殺無辜、不崇事他上帝、以召禍患、則昔我所錫爾祖之地、以為永業者、今必俾爾安居。人述虛誕、無益於事、爾乃信之、

當是日雅各家肥健之人、變為瘦瘠、尊榮之輩、降為卑賤、

長者聽訟、為納苞苴、祭司訓民、惟望賞賚、先知圖利、而言未來事、然眾恃耶和華自謂耶和華左右我、必不遘災、

時必曰、爾之上帝安在、爾所恃之上帝安在、彼享所祭之膏、彼飲所奠之酒、曷使起而援手、為爾作逋逃之藪乎。
