“人子啊，你要面向南方，向南滴下预言攻击南方田野的树林。对南方的树林说，要听耶和华的话。主耶和华如此说：我必使火在你中间着起，烧灭你中间的一切青树和枯树，猛烈的火焰必不熄灭。从南到北，人的脸面都被烧焦。

也必有人从犹大城邑和耶路撒冷四围的各处，从便雅悯地、高原、山地，并南地而来，都带燔祭、平安祭、素祭，和乳香，并感谢祭，到耶和华的殿去。

他们要将地分作七份；犹大仍在南方，住在他的境内。约瑟家仍在北方，住在他的境内。

“你若不听从耶和华你神的话，不谨守遵行他的一切诫命律例，就是我今日所吩咐你的，这以下的咒诅都必追随你，临到你身上：

耶和华必使你们分散在万民中，从地这边到地那边，你必在那里侍奉你和你列祖素不认识、木头石头的神。在那些国中，你必不得安逸，也不得落脚之地；耶和华却使你在那里心中跳动，眼目失明，精神消耗。你的性命必悬悬无定；你昼夜恐惧，自料性命难保。你因心里所恐惧的，眼中所看见的，早晨必说，巴不得到晚上才好；晚上必说，巴不得到早晨才好。耶和华必使你坐船回埃及去，走我曾告诉你不得再见的路；在那里你必卖己身与仇敌作奴婢，却无人买。”

因耶和华如此说：‘我必使你自觉惊吓，你也必使众朋友惊吓；他们必倒在仇敌的刀下，你也必亲眼看见；我必将犹大人全交在巴比伦王的手中，他要将他们掳到巴比伦去，也要用刀将他们杀戮。

他拆毁的，就不能再建造；他捆住人，便不得开释。
