Give glory to the Lord your God before he brings the darkness, before your feet stumble on the darkening hills. You hope for light, but he will turn it to utter darkness and change it to deep gloom.

Give glory to the Lord your God. Honor him before he sends darkness to cover the land. Do this before you trip and fall on the darkened hills. You hope that light will come. But he will turn it into thick darkness. He will change it to deep shadows.

故上帝不伸我冤、不拯我躬、我望光明、忽致幽暗、我望日中、偏值晦冥。

當作痔形、有鼠害爾土壤、亦作其形、尊以色列族之上帝、庶可去災、遠離爾曹、及爾上帝、與爾土壤。

耶和華曰、當斯時也、我必於亭午、使日沉西、白晝晦冥、遍地不見、吉日變為愁慘之時、謳歌變為悲傷之語、各束以麻、各薙其髮、終日哀哭、若喪獨子。

爾曹億兆、稱揚耶和華、有尊榮、具大能兮、讚美耶和華、盡其所當然、宜獻祭物、入於場帷兮、

故其途幽暗、滑而難行、我驅逐之、使顛蹶趾、屆期降災。

耶和華諭摩西曰、以手指天、使埃及晦冥、暗中摸索。

年當少壯、必及時敬造化之主、宜憶勿忘、斯時也、患難憂愁之日尚未至。既屆其期、日月星辰必晦其光、雲遮靉靆、雨降淋漓。

耶利米曰、我觀地虛曠、天無光、

我望平康、不可復得、我望援手、禍患叢集。

郇民曰、我冀鄰邦、以手援予、引領徒勞、望眼欲穿兮。

雖享遐齡、畢生逸樂、當思未來之日、憂患迭起、乃知事皆屬虛。

耶穌曰、光與爾在暫耳、有光則行、恐暗忽至、暗行者不知所往、

耶和華豈遺棄猶大、痛疾郇邑哉、奚擊我而不醫、我冀平康而有禍、望得醫而加傷。
