曠野童山、寇賊已至、遍於四境、民罹鋒刃、被吞噬、不享綏安、我使之然。

Over all the barren heights in the desert destroyers will swarm, for the sword of the Lord will devour from one end of the land to the other; no one will be safe.

Many will come to destroy it. They will gather on the bare hilltops in the desert. I will use them as my sword to destroy my people. They will kill them from one end of the land to the other. No one will be safe.

主之劍乎、爾行戮不息、何時方止、當入於鞘、安靖不動、

雖為敵所擄、我必使刃殺之於彼、我目恆鑒之、加之以禍、不加之以福、

主之刃飽以血、潤以脂、飽以羔羊山羊之血、潤以牡綿羊腰之脂、蓋主在波斯拉行殺戮、在以東大行誅殛、

如我使其國遇鋒刃、鋒刃徧害其地、於其中絕人與畜、

我必散爾於異邦人中、使爾為兵刃所追、使爾土地荒蕪、使爾城邑變為荒墟、

待環攻其邑之日已滿、以三分之一、火焚於邑中、以三分之一、斷之以刃在邑之四周、以三分之一、散之以風、我亦拔刃追襲於後、

股邊之衣上、原文作在其股與衣有名書曰、萬王之王、萬主之主、○我見一天使立於日中、向空中飛鳥大聲呼曰、來、集於至大天主之盛筵、食君王之肉、將帥之肉、勇士之肉、馬及乘馬者之肉、自主者、為奴者、無論大小、皆食其肉、我見獸與世之諸王及其眾軍咸集、欲與乘馬者及其軍戰、獸被擒、偽先知曾於獸前行異跡、誘惑受獸印誌及拜獸像者、亦同被擒、二者生投於硫磺火坑中、其餘見殺於乘馬者口中所出之劍、鳥食其肉而飽焉、

我之天主曰、惡人不享平康、

哀聲聞自郇曰、哀哉、我遭刼掠、蒙恥特甚、見擄離故土、敵毀我居、先知曰、惟爾眾婦、當聽主言、傾耳聽其口之語、當教爾女以舉哀、彼此相誨以謳哀歌、因死亡由我牖而進、入我宮室、在逵衢絕孩提、在街市滅壯士、

當是時必告斯民及耶路撒冷人曰、炎熇之風、自曠野童山向我民而吹、非為簸揚、非為潔禾、我使此風為我而至、較簸揚潔禾之風尤大、今我將審判之、敵人如雲而來、車如颶風、馬疾於鷹、我儕敗亡、禍哉禍哉、耶路撒冷歟、當洗心除惡、則可得救、爾衷懷妄念、將至何時、聲自但地及以法蓮山而至、以報大災、

摩押榮華歸於無有、人在希實本、設謀以害之曰、當往絕之、使不復成國、瑪得緬歟、爾亦傾滅、鋒刃追襲爾後、

遂見有赤馬出、乘之者得權、使世不平康、使人相殺、亦予之巨刃、○

蓋其時必有大難、自創世以至於今、未有如此者、後亦必無有焉、若不稍減其日、則無一人得救、但為蒙選者、其日必減、

因主降臨於火、主之輦迅如颶風、震怒有如烈火、譴責仇敵、以烈焰焚燬、蓋主將行刑、以火以刃、懲罰凡有血氣者、遭主戮者甚多、

古實人歟、爾曹亦必為我刃所戮、

爾舉目以望高邱、試觀何處非爾受污之地、爾坐道旁俟人、若亞拉伯人伏於曠野、爾行淫作惡、污穢斯地、

主如是云、爾曹不聽我、不願宣告釋爾同族同國之人、今我宣告爾、必使使或作任爾遭鋒刃、饑饉、疫癘、使爾受天下萬國之凌虐、

如彼問爾曰、我儕可往何處、爾則告之曰、主如是云、當死者就死、當亡於刃者就刃、當饑者就饑、當擄者就擄、
