曠野童山、寇賊已至、遍於四境、民罹鋒刃、被吞噬、不享綏安、我使之然。

行毀者已至曠野諸童山、自國此極至國彼極、主之刃遍行殺戮、凡有血氣者、不得綏安、

Over all the barren heights in the desert destroyers will swarm, for the sword of the Lord will devour from one end of the land to the other; no one will be safe.

Many will come to destroy it. They will gather on the bare hilltops in the desert. I will use them as my sword to destroy my people. They will kill them from one end of the land to the other. No one will be safe.

Upon all the bare heights in the desert destroyers have come, for the sword of the Lord devours from one end of the land to the other; no flesh has peace.

On all the bare hilltops, destroying armies can be seen. The sword of the Lord devours people from one end of the nation to the other. No one will escape!

耶和華的刀劍哪，你要到幾時才可停下來呢？請你入鞘吧！休息靜止吧！

如果他們被仇敵擄去，就是在那裡，我必命令刀劍殺死他們；我必定睛在他們身上，降禍不降福。”

耶和華的刀染滿了血，這刀因脂肪、羊羔和公山羊的血，以及公綿羊腰子的脂肪而滋潤，因為耶和華在波斯拉有殺牲獻祭的事，在以東地有大屠殺。

如果我使刀劍臨到那地，說：‘願刀劍經過那地，好讓我把人和牲畜從那地剪除。’

我要把你們分散在萬國中，我又拔出刀來追趕你們；你們的地成為荒涼，你們的城市變成荒場。

圍困這城的日子滿了，你要拿鬚髮的三分之一在城中用火燒掉，又拿三分之一在城的周圍用刀剁碎，三分之一撒在風中，我還要拔刀追趕它們。

在他的衣服和大腿上，寫著“萬王之王，萬主之主”的名號。我又看見一位天使站在太陽中，向高空所有的飛鳥大聲呼喊說：“你們來吧！齊集起來赴神的大筵席！可以吃君王的肉、將領的肉、壯士的肉，馬和騎士的肉，以及自由的、作奴隸的、大的、小的，所有人的肉。”我看見那獸和地上的眾王，以及他們的眾軍，都集合起來，要跟那騎白馬的和他的眾軍作戰。那獸被捉住了；連同在獸面前用奇事迷惑人，使他們接受獸的記號，並且拜獸像的那假先知，也一起被捉住了。他們兩個就活活地被拋在燒著硫磺的火湖裡去。其餘的人都被那位騎白馬的口中所吐出來的劍殺了。所有飛鳥都吃飽了他們的肉。

我的神說：“惡人必沒有平安。”

因為從錫安可以聽到哀聲，說：‘我們何等衰敗！我們多麼羞恥！因我們丟棄了這地，我們的家園被拆毀了。’”婦女們哪！你們要聽耶和華的話，你們的耳朵要領受他口中的話；要教導你們的女兒舉哀，各人要彼此學習哀歌。因為死亡從窗戶上來，進入我們的堡壘；要從街上剪除孩童，從廣場上剪除年輕人。

到那時，必有話對這人民和耶路撒冷說：“有一陣熱風從曠野光禿的高岡，颳向我的子民（“我的子民”原文作“我子民的女子”），不是為簸散，也不是為揚淨；這過強的風要為我颳來，我就要向他們宣告我的判詞。”看哪！他必如密雲湧聚，他的戰車如旋風，他的馬比鷹還快。我們有禍了，我們滅亡了！耶路撒冷啊！洗淨你心中的邪惡，使你可以得救！你心存惡念，要到幾時呢？因為有聲音從但宣告，從以法蓮山傳出災禍的警報。

摩押不再被人稱讚；敵人在希實本計謀害它，說：‘來吧！我們要把它剪除，使它不再成國！’瑪得緬哪！你也要靜默無聲；刀劍必追趕你。

就另有一匹紅馬出來，騎在馬上的得了權柄，可以從地上奪去和平，使人互相殘殺，又有一把大刀賜給他。

因為那時必有大災難，這是從世界的開始到現在未曾有過的，以後也必不會再有。如果那些日子不減少，沒有一個人可以存活；但是為了選民，那些日子必會減少。

看哪！耶和華必在火中降臨，他的戰車好像旋風；他要以猛烈的怒氣施行報應，用火燄施行斥責。因為耶和華必用火和刀劍，在所有的人身上施行審判，被耶和華所殺的人必定很多。

古實人哪！你們也必被我的刀劍所殺。

“你向光禿的高岡舉目看看，哪裡沒有你的淫跡？你坐在路邊等候情人，像阿拉伯人在曠野埋伏一樣。你以淫亂和邪惡，把這地玷污了。

“所以，耶和華這樣說：‘你們各人沒有聽從我，向兄弟、同胞宣告自由；看哪！我現在向你們宣告自由，容讓你們遭受刀劍、瘟疫和饑荒，使你們成為地上萬國所驚懼的。’這是耶和華的宣告。

如果他們問你：‘我們要去哪裡？’你就告訴他們：‘耶和華這樣說：該死亡的，就死亡；該被刀劍所殺的，就被刀劍所殺；該遭遇饑荒的，就遭遇饑荒；該被擄的，就被擄去！’
