which I commanded your forefathers on the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying,‘ Listen to My voice, and do according to all that I command you; so you shall be My people, and I will be your God,’

the terms I commanded your ancestors when I brought them out of Egypt, out of the iron-smelting furnace.’ I said,‘ Obey me and do everything I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God.

I gave those terms to your people of long ago. That was when I brought them out of Egypt. I saved them out of that furnace that melts down iron and makes it pure.’ I said,‘ Obey me. Do everything I command you to do. Then you will be my people. And I will be your God.

For I said to your ancestors when I brought them out of the iron smelting furnace of Egypt,“ If you obey me and do whatever I command you, then you will be my people, and I will be your God.”

which I commanded your ancestors when I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the iron furnace.” I declared,“ Obey me, and do everything that I command you, and you will be my people, and I will be your God,”

Which I commanded your fathers in the day[ that] I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, from the iron furnace, saying, Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you: so shall ye be my people, and I will be your God:

Those are the terms that I charged your ancestors to keep when I brought them out of Egypt, that place which was like an iron-smelting furnace. I said at that time,“ Obey me and carry out the terms of the agreement exactly as I commanded you. If you do, you will be my people and I will be your God.

which I commanded your fathers in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, out of the iron furnace,’ saying,‘ Obey my voice, and do them, according to all which I command you; so you shall be my people, and I will be your God;

But the Lord has taken you and brought you out of the iron furnace, from Egypt, to be a people of His own possession, as today.

I will also walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people.

For I did not speak to your fathers, or command them on the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings and sacrifices.But this is what I commanded them, saying,‘ Obey My voice, and I will be your God, and you will be My people; and you shall walk entirely in the way which I command you, so that it may go well for you.’

and I will bring them back and they will live in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God in truth and righteousness.’

I will also give them a heart to know Me, for I am the Lord; and they will be My people, and I will be their God, for they will return to Me wholeheartedly.

( for they are Your people and Your inheritance which You have brought out of Egypt, from the midst of the iron furnace),

And you will live in the land that I gave to your forefathers; so you will be My people, and I will be your God.

the blessing, if you listen to the commandments of the Lord your God, which I am commanding you today;

in order that the house of Israel may no longer stray from Me and no longer defile themselves with all their offenses. So they will be My people, and I shall be their God,” ’ declares the Lord God.”

‘ You shall be My people, And I will be your God.’ ”

“ Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord,“ when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah,not like the covenant which I made with their fathers on the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord.“ For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord:“ I will put My law within them and write it on their heart; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Now then, reform your ways and your deeds and obey the voice of the Lord your God; and the Lord will relent of the disaster which He has pronounced against you.

Then Moses came and reported to the people all the words of the Lord and all the ordinances; and all the people answered with one voice and said,“ All the words which the Lord has spoken we will do!”And Moses wrote down all the words of the Lord. Then he got up early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain with twelve memorial stones for the twelve tribes of Israel.And he sent young men of the sons of Israel, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed bulls as peace offerings to the Lord.Moses took half of the blood and put it in basins, and the other half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it as the people listened; and they said,“ All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!”So Moses took the blood and sprinkled it on the people, and said,“ Behold the blood of the covenant, which the Lord has made with you in accordance with all these words.”

They will no longer defile themselves with their idols, or with their detestable things, or with any of their offenses; but I will rescue them from all their dwelling places in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them. And they will be My people, and I will be their God.

And I will give to you and to your descendants after you the land where you live as a stranger, all the land of Canaan, as an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.”

If you walk in My statutes and keep My commandments so as to carry them out,

And I will bring the third part through the fire, Refine them as silver is refined, And test them as gold is tested. They will call on My name, And I will answer them; I will say,‘ They are My people,’ And they will say,‘ The Lord is my God.’ ”

Or what agreement does the temple of God have with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said,“ I will dwell among them and walk among them; And I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

For in finding fault with the people, He says,“ Behold, days are coming, says the Lord, When I will bring about a new covenant With the house of Israel and the house of Judah,Not like the covenant which I made with their fathers On the day I took them by the hand To bring them out of the land of Egypt; For they did not continue in My covenant, And I did not care about them, says the Lord.For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel After those days, declares the Lord: I will put My laws into their minds, And write them on their hearts. And I will be their God, And they shall be My people.

so that they may walk in My statutes, and keep My ordinances and do them. Then they will be My people, and I shall be their God.

“ Now it shall be, if you diligently obey the Lord your God, being careful to do all His commandments which I am commanding you today, that the Lord your God will put you high above all the nations of the earth.And all these blessings will come to you and reach you if you obey the Lord your God:“ Blessed will you be in the city, and blessed will you be in the country.“ Blessed will be the children of your womb, the produce of your ground, and the offspring of your animals: the newborn of your herd and the young of your flock.“ Blessed will be your basket and your kneading bowl.“ Blessed will you be when you come in, and blessed will you be when you go out.“ The Lord will cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated by you; they will go out against you one way and will flee at your presence seven ways.The Lord will command the blessing for you in your barns and in everything that you put your hand to, and He will bless you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.The Lord will establish you as a holy people to Himself, as He swore to you, if you keep the commandments of the Lord your God and walk in His ways.So all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by the name of the Lord, and they will be afraid of you.And the Lord will give you more than enough prosperity, in the children of your womb, in the offspring of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.The Lord will open for you His good storehouse, the heavens, to give rain to your land in its season and to bless every work of your hand; and you will lend to many nations, but you will not borrow.And the Lord will make you the head and not the tail, and you will only be above, and not be underneath, if you listen to the commandments of the Lord your God which I am commanding you today, to follow them carefully,and do not turn aside from any of the words which I am commanding you today, to the right or the left, to pursue other gods to serve them.

My dwelling place also will be among them; and I will be their God, and they will be My people.

Therefore this is what the Lord says:“ Behold, I am going to hand this city over to the Chaldeans and to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and he will take it.

Be attentive to him and obey his voice; do not be rebellious toward him, for he will not pardon your rebellion, since My name is in him.But if you truly obey his voice and do all that I say, then I will be an enemy to your enemies and an adversary to your adversaries.

teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Those who are far away will come and build the temple of the Lord.” Then you will know that the Lord of armies has sent me to you. And it will take place if you completely obey the Lord your God.

on that day I swore to them, to bring them out from the land of Egypt into a land that I had selected for them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all the lands.And I said to them,‘ Throw away, each of you, the detestable things of his eyes, and do not defile yourselves with the idols of Egypt; I am the Lord your God.’But they rebelled against Me and were not willing to listen to Me; they did not throw away, each of them, the detestable things of their eyes, nor did they abandon the idols of Egypt.“ Then I resolved to pour out My wrath on them, to use up My anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.But I acted for the sake of My name, that it would not be defiled in the sight of the nations among whom they lived, in whose sight I made Myself known to them by bringing them out of the land of Egypt.So I took them out of the land of Egypt and brought them into the wilderness.I gave them My statutes and informed them of My ordinances, which, if a person follows them, then he will live by them.Also I gave them My Sabbaths to be a sign between Me and them, so that they might know that I am the Lord who sanctifies them.

“ You stand today, all of you, before the Lord your God: your heads, your tribes, your elders and your officers, that is, all the men of Israel,your little ones, your wives, and the stranger who is within your camps, from the one who gathers your firewood to the one who draws your water,so that you may enter into the covenant with the Lord your God, and into His oath which the Lord your God is making with you today,in order that He may establish you today as His people, and that He may be your God, just as He spoke to you and as He swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.“ Now it is not with you alone that I am making this covenant and this oath,but both with those who stand here with us today in the presence of the Lord our God, and with those who are not with us here today

Samuel said,“ Does the Lord have as much delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than a sacrifice, And to pay attention is better than the fat of rams.

but showing favor to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.

And having been perfected, He became the source of eternal salvation for all those who obey Him,

The Lord our God made a covenant with us at Horeb.The Lord did not make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, all of us who are alive here today.

Behold, I have refined you, but not as silver; I have tested you in the furnace of affliction.
