爾可往籲所簡之神、爾遭難時、任其拯之、

我必成我口所言、焚香灌奠於天后、循我及我祖、我王、我牧伯、在猶大諸邑、及耶路撒冷街衢所為、蓋其時我儕足食晏安、不遘災禍、自我不焚香灌奠於天后、則無不缺乏、亡於鋒刃饑饉、我焚香灌奠於天后、作餅以象其形、加以灌奠、我夫豈不與乎、耶利米謂答之之男女庶民曰、爾與爾祖、諸王牧伯、及斯土庶民、焚香於猶大諸邑、與耶路撒冷街衢、耶和華豈不記憶之、思念之、因爾所行之惡、所作可憎之事、耶和華不能復忍、故爾土地成為荒蕪、可駭可詛、無人居處、有如今日、爾曹焚香、獲罪於耶和華、不從耶和華之言、不遵其律例、典章法度、故遘此災、有如今日、○耶利米又謂庶民、及諸婦曰、居埃及地之猶大人、其聽耶和華言、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝云、爾與爾妻、口所言者以手成之、曰、我必如我所許之願、焚香灌奠於天后、今可堅爾願而償之、居埃及地之猶大人、其聽耶和華言、耶和華曰、我已指我大名而誓、凡居埃及之猶大人、後必無一人、口道我名曰、我指維生之主耶和華而誓、我必儆醒而降以禍、不降以福、凡在埃及之猶大人、必亡於鋒刃饑饉、至於盡滅、
