Therefore this is what the Lord says:‘ I will bring on them a disaster they cannot escape. Although they cry out to me, I will not listen to them.

So I say,‘ I will bring trouble on them. They will not be able to escape it. They will cry out to me. But I will not listen to them.

Therefore, thus says the Lord, Behold, I am bringing disaster upon them that they cannot escape. Though they cry to me, I will not listen to them.

Therefore, this is what the Lord says: I am going to bring calamity upon them, and they will not escape. Though they beg for mercy, I will not listen to their cries.

“ Therefore, this is what the LORD says: I am about to bring on them disaster that they cannot escape. They will cry out to me, but I will not hear them.

Therefore this is what the Lord says:“ Behold, I am bringing disaster on them which they will not be able to escape; though they will cry out to Me, I will not listen to them.

Therefore thus says the Lord:“ Behold, I will surely bring calamity on them which they will not be able to escape; and though they cry out to Me, I will not listen to them.

Therefore thus saith Jehovah, Behold, I will bring evil upon them, which they shall not be able to escape; and they shall cry unto me, but I will not hearken unto them.

“ Therefore, this is what the Lord says: I am about to bring on them disaster that they cannot escape. They will cry out to Me, but I will not hear them.

故我必以怒待之、我目不顧惜之、不加矜憫、彼雖大聲呼於我耳、猶不聽之、

爾舉手、我則掩目、爾多禱、我不俯聽、爾手盈以血也、

斯時呼籲我、我弗應、切尋我、而弗得、

至時、彼將籲耶和華、而不之應、必因其所為之惡、掩面弗顧、

萬軍之耶和華曰、我呼之、而彼不聽、彼呼我、我亦不聽、

耶和華云、我必降災於此處、及其居民、循猶大王所誦書中之言、

彼禁食時、我不聽其呼籲、彼獻燔祭素祭、我不納之、惟以鋒刃饑饉疫癘滅之、

地上居民歟、驚駭坎阱機檻、悉臨於爾、

大地歟、其聽之、我必降災於斯民、為其圖謀之果報、蓋彼不從我言、而棄我律、

彼呼號而無援、籲耶和華亦弗應兮、

萬軍之耶和華昔培植爾、今命災禍擊爾、因以色列家與猶大家行惡、為巴力焚香、以激我怒也、○

耶和華云、我必降災於此處、及其居民、即讀於猶大王前之書、所載諸詛、

疾趨者不得避所、強壯者不得施力、剛勇者不能自救、執弓者不得屹立、捷足者不得脫逃、乘馬者不能自救、

人方謂平康安固、滅亡突及之、如產難之及妊婦、而莫之避也、

曰、猶大王及耶路撒冷居民歟、宜聽耶和華言、萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝云、我將降災於斯土、凡聞之者、其耳必震、

故其行徑、將為暗中之滑地、彼必見逐、蹶於其中、蓋譴責之年、我必降之以災、耶和華言之矣、

彼為上帝榮之光華、質之真像、且以有能之言持載萬有、既潔眾罪、則坐於皇皇在上者之右、

故萬軍之上帝耶和華、以色列之上帝曰、我必降所言之災於猶大人、及耶路撒冷居民、以我諭之而彼不聽、召之而彼不應也、

屢受斥責、仍復強項、敗亡必速、無術可治、

我心若注於罪、主必不聽兮、

謂山與巖曰、傾而匿我、以避居於座者之面及羔之怒、蓋其怒之大日至矣、誰能立哉、

萬軍之耶和華、以色列之上帝云、我必降所言之災於是邑、及其屬邑、蓋彼強項、不聽我言也、

如人避獅而遇熊、入室捫壁、被齧於蛇、

如彼詢爾曰、我當何往、則告之曰、耶和華云、當死者就死、當刃者就刃、當饑者就饑、當虜者就虜、

曰當竭力以進窄門、我語汝、將有求進而不得者多也、迨家主起而閉門、爾立於外、叩門曰、主歟、為我啟之、彼將應曰、我不識爾奚自、爾將曰、我儕曾於爾前食飲、爾亦於我衢訓誨、彼將曰、我告爾、我不識爾奚自、爾眾行不義者、其去我、時、爾見亞伯拉罕以撒雅各、與諸先知在上帝國、而爾見逐於外、則必哀哭切齒矣、

我必因其罪愆罰之、與其子孫臣僕、降所言之災於彼、及耶路撒冷居民、猶大之眾、而彼不聽、

主耶和華曰、有禍將至、祗此而已、

我見主立於壇側曰、擊柱頂以震門閾、俾其折碎、墮於眾首、我必以刃戮其遺民、無一能逃、無一得避、彼雖穿穴入於陰府、我手必取之、雖攀至高天、我必降之、雖匿於迦密之巔、我必搜而出之、雖避我目、藏於海底、我必命蛇齧之、雖被虜於敵前、我必命刃殺之、我注目視之、乃為殃、非為祥也、

勿為斯民祈禱、勿為之揚聲呼籲、彼遭難而呼籲我、我必不聽、
