I chose you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart before you were born. I appointed you a prophet to the nations.

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee; I have appointed thee a prophet unto the nations.

Coastlands, listen to me; distant peoples, pay attention. The Lord called me before I was born. He named me while I was in my mother’s womb.

Your eyes saw me when I was formless; all my days were written in Your book and planned before a single one of them began.

But when God, who from my birth set me apart and called me by His grace, was pleasedto reveal His Son in me, so that I could preach Him among the Gentiles, I did not immediately consult with anyone.

For You are my hope, Lord God, my confidence from my youth.I have leaned on You from birth; You took me from my mother’s womb. My praise is always about You.

For those He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers.

And now, says the Lord, who formed me from the womb to be His Servant, to bring Jacob back to Him so that Israel might be gathered to Him; for I am honored in the sight of the Lord, and my God is my strength—

Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, having this inscription: The Lord knows those who are His, and Everyone who names the name of the Lord must turn away from unrighteousness.Now in a large house there are not only gold and silver bowls, but also those of wood and clay, some for honorable use, some for dishonorable.So if anyone purifies himself from anything dishonorable, he will be a special instrument, set apart, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work.

This is the word of the Lord your Maker who formed you from the womb; He will help you: Do not fear; Jacob is My servant; I have chosen Jeshurun.

And child, you will be called a prophet of the Most High, for you will go before the Lord to prepare His ways,

And He put everything under His feet and appointed Him as head over everything for the church,

Their Redeemer is strong; Yahweh of Hosts is His name. He will fervently plead their case so that He might bring rest to the earth but turmoil to those who live in Babylon.

This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, said to me:“ Take this cup of the wine of wrath from My hand and make all the nations I am sending you to, drink from it.They will drink, stagger, and go out of their minds because of the sword I am sending among them.”So I took the cup from the Lord’s hand and made all the nations drink from it, everyone the Lord sent me to.These included: Jerusalem and the other cities of Judah, its kings and its officials, to make them a desolate ruin, an object of scorn and cursing— as it is today;Pharaoh king of Egypt, his officers, his leaders, all his people,and all the mixed peoples; all the kings of the land of Uz; all the kings of the land of the Philistines— Ashkelon, Gaza, Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod;Edom, Moab, and the Ammonites;all the kings of Tyre, all the kings of Sidon, and the kings of the coastlands across the sea;Dedan, Tema, Buz, and all those who shave their temples;all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mixed peoples who have settled in the desert;all the kings of Zimri, all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of Media;all the kings of the north, both near and far from one another; that is, all the kingdoms of the world which are on the face of the earth. Finally, the king of Sheshach will drink after them.
