非利士人的五個首領看見了，當天就回以革倫去。這些金痔瘡，就是非利士人償給耶和華作賠罪的禮物的，一個是為亞實突，一個是為迦薩，一個是為亞實基倫，一個是為迦特，一個是為以革倫。

在以法蓮山地的拉瑪．瑣非，有一個以法蓮人名叫以利加拿，是耶羅罕的兒子、以利戶的孫子、託戶的曾孫、蘇弗的玄孫。

他們有事件的時候，就到我這裡來，我就在雙方之間施行審判，使他們認識神的條例和律法。”

次日，摩西坐著審判人民的案件；人民從早到晚都站在摩西的身旁。

又從伯特利到路斯，經過亞基人的境界亞他綠，

現在你要聽我的話，我要給你出個主意，願神與你同在；你要代替人民到神面前，把他們的事件帶到神那裡。

第二天，他們清早起來，在耶和華面前敬拜，然後回到他們的家鄉拉瑪，回到自己的家裡去。以利加拿和妻子哈拿同房；耶和華顧念哈拿，

又有基遍、拉瑪、比錄、

伯．亞拉巴、洗瑪蓮、伯特利、

撒母耳死了，以色列眾人都聚集起來，為他哀哭，把他埋葬在拉瑪他自己的家裡。大衛起身，下到巴蘭的曠野去。

押沙龍常常清早起來，站在通往城門口的路旁。有爭訟的案件要進去請王判決的人，押沙龍就把他叫到跟前來，問他：“你是從哪一座城來的？”他回答：“僕人是從以色列某一支派來的。”押沙龍就對他說：“你看！你的案件有情有理，但是王並沒有委人聽你的案子。”押沙龍又說：“但願有人立我作這地的審判官，這樣，有案件或訴訟的人，都可以到我這裡來，我就給他公平的審判。”如果有人走近押沙龍要拜他，他就伸手拉住他，並且與他親吻。所有來到王面前請求審決的以色列人，押沙龍都是這樣對待他們。因此，押沙龍暗中迷惑了以色列人的心。

耶和華這樣說：“在拉瑪聽見有聲音，是痛哭哀號的聲音；拉結為她的兒女哀哭，不肯受安慰，因為他們都不在了。”
