The Spirit of the Lord came on him, so that he became Israel’s judge and went to war. The Lord gave Cushan-Rishathaim king of Aram into the hands of Othniel, who overpowered him.

The Spirit of the Lord came on Othniel. So he became Israel’s leader. He went to war. The Lord handed over to him Cushan- Rishathaim, the king of Aram. Othniel won the battle over him.

The Spirit of the Lord was upon him, and he judged Israel. He went out to war, and the Lord gave Cushan-rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand. And his hand prevailed over Cushan-rishathaim.

Yahweh’s Spirit came on him, and he judged Israel; and he went out to war, and Yahweh delivered Cushan Rishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand. His hand prevailed against Cushan Rishathaim.

永恆主的靈覆被在基甸身上，他就吹號角；亞比以謝族便都應召來跟從他。

永恆主的靈大大激動參孫，參孫就下到亞實基倫，擊殺了他們中間三十個人，取了所被剝奪的衣裳，將那三十套衣裳，給了那些將謎語的意思說出來的人；參孫發怒，便上他父親家裏去了。

在瑪哈尼但（也即是在瑣拉）與以實陶之間、永恆主的靈開始攪動參孫。

永恆主的靈大大激動了參孫，參孫便將獅子撕裂，像人撕裂山羊羔一樣，赤手空拳，也沒有將他所作的告訴父母。

於是永恆主的靈感動耶弗他；耶弗他就經過基列和瑪拿西，經過基列的米斯巴，又從基列的米斯巴過去到亞捫人那裏。

掃羅聽見這些話，就被上帝的靈大大感動，怒氣大發。

永恆主在雲中降臨，對摩西說話，將在摩西身上的靈分與做長老的七十個人身上；當靈停在他們身上的時候，他們就受感動而發神言狂。以後卻沒有再發。

恩賜雖分了多種多樣，靈卻是同一的；服役職事雖分了多種多樣，主卻是同一的；「效力」雖分了多種多樣，上帝卻是同一的；是他在萬人裏面以動力運行萬事的。不過各人稟受靈之表顯、是要有益於人的。有人藉着靈、稟受智慧的話；另有人依這同一的靈稟受知識的話；另有別人本着這同一的靈稟受深信之心；另有人本着這獨一的靈稟受行醫的恩賜；另有人稟受異能的效力；另有人稟受神言傳講的才能；另有人稟受辨別諸靈的能力；另有別人稟受種種的捲舌頭話；又另有人對捲舌頭話稟受解明的才能：這一切都是這獨一而同一的靈以動力所運行的；他照他的意思一樣一樣分布給各人。

我要在那裏降臨，和你說話，也要把在你身上的靈分在他們身上，他們就要和你一同擔當這管理人民的責任，免得你獨自擔當。

巴蘭舉目，看見以色列人一族派一族派地住着營，上帝的靈就感動他；

上帝的靈感動了俄德的兒子亞撒利雅，

不要丟掉我離開你的聖容；不要從我裏面收回你的聖靈。

當下永恆主的靈就在大眾中臨到了利未人亞薩的子孫：瑪探雅的玄孫耶利的曾孫比拿雅的孫子撒迦利亞的兒子雅哈悉；

因為人既儘一次蒙了光照，又嘗過屬天之白白的恩，而有分於聖靈，

摩西對他說：『你為了我的緣故而生妒愛熱情麼？但願永恆主使他的人民都做神言人啊！但願永恆主將他的靈賜在他們身上啊！』

永恆主對摩西說：『你要選取嫩的兒子約書亞、一個心裏有聖靈的人，按手在他頭上，

撒母耳就拿了油角，在他哥哥們中間膏了他；從那一天起、永恆主的靈就大大感動大衛。於是撒母耳起身、往拉瑪去了。

永恆主的靈必大大感動你，你就和他們一同受感動而發神言狂；你就要變為另一個人。
