他们还没有躺下睡觉，那城里的人，就是所多玛的男人，无论是年轻的或是年老的，都从各处来围住罗得的房子。他们呼唤罗得，对他说：“今晚到你这里来的人在哪里？把他们带出来，我们要与他们同房。”罗得出来，随手把门关上，到门口众人那里，说：“我的弟兄们，请不要作恶。看哪，我有两个女儿，是还没有和男人同房的，让我把她们带出来，你们高兴怎样待她们，就怎样行吧！只是这两个人，因为他们是到舍下来的，你们不可向他们作什么。”

你们就要把他们二人带到当地的城门口，用石头打死他们。那少女该死，是因为她虽在城里，却没有呼叫；那男人该死，是因为他玷污了邻舍的妻子；这样，你就把那恶从你们中间除掉。
