Now turn those wicked men of Gibeah over to us so that we may put them to death and purge the evil from Israel.” But the Benjamites would not listen to their fellow Israelites.

Hand over to us those evil men of Gibeah. We’ll put them to death. In that way we’ll get rid of those evil people.” But the people of Benjamin wouldn’t listen to the other Israelites.

Now therefore give up the men, the worthless fellows in Gibeah, that we may put them to death and purge evil from Israel.” But the Benjaminites would not listen to the voice of their brothers, the people of Israel.

Give up those evil men, those troublemakers from Gibeah, so we can execute them and purge Israel of this evil.” But the people of Benjamin would not listen.

他們心裡正暢快的時候，忽然城裡有些無賴之徒，圍繞房子，不住地敲門，對老房主說：“把進入你家的那個人帶出來，我們要與他交合。”

如果有人擅自行事，不聽從祭司，就是侍立在那裡事奉耶和華你的神的，或是不聽從審判官，那人就必須處死；這樣，你就可以把這惡從以色列中肅清了。

有些匪徒從你中間出來，把本城的居民引離，說：‘我們去事奉別的神吧。’那些神是你們素來不認識的；

流氓卻像荊棘被丟棄，人不敢用手拿它。

事情不是這樣的；只因以法蓮山地有一個人名叫示巴，是比基利的兒子，他舉手攻擊大衛王。你們只要把他一人交出來，我就離開這城。”婦人對約押說：“看哪！那人的頭必從這城牆上丟給你。”婦人就憑她的智慧去見眾人，他們就把比基利的兒子示巴的頭砍下來，丟給約押；約押吹號角，眾人就離城散開，各回自己的家去了。約押也回耶路撒冷去見王。

有些無賴匪徒結集跟從他，欺負所羅門的兒子羅波安；那時羅波安還年幼，心裡驚怯，所以不能抵擋他們。

以法蓮深深敗壞，如同在基比亞的日子一般。神必記得他們的罪孽，懲罰他們的罪惡。

然後兩個匪徒來坐在拿伯的對面。這兩個流氓當眾作見證控告拿伯，說：“拿伯曾經咒詛神和君王。”眾人就把拿伯拉出城外，用石頭打他，把他打死了。

見證人要先下手，然後眾民也下手，把他處死。這樣，你就把那惡從你中間除掉。

全城的人就要用石頭打死他；這樣，你就把那惡從你們中間除掉。以色列眾人聽見了，就都懼怕。

如果有人得罪人，有官長（“官長”原文作“神”）懲罰他；如果有人得罪耶和華，有誰為他求情呢？”他們卻不聽父親的話，因為耶和華有意要殺他們。

人屢次受責備，仍然硬著頸項，他必突然毀滅，無法挽救。

所以你當除掉心中的煩惱，除去肉體的疾苦，因為無論是幼年或是壯年，都是虛空的。

以色列啊！從基比亞的日子以來，你就犯罪，他們仍然留在那裡，難道攻擊惡人的戰禍不能在基比亞趕上他們嗎？

與大衛一起去的那些人中，有些惡人和流氓說：“他們沒有和我們一起去，我們就不把奪回來的戰利品分給他們，只把他們各人的妻子和兒子還給他們，讓他們領回去就是了。”

先知向王講話的時候，王對他說：“我們立了你作王的謀士嗎？住口吧！你要挨打嗎？”先知就住口，可是又說：“我知道神已定意消滅你，因為你作了這事，又不聽從我的勸戒。”

他們雖然明明知道行這些事的人，神判定他們是該死的，然而他們不單自己去行，也喜歡別人去行。

至於那先知，或作夢的人，你們要把他處死，因為他說了叛逆的話，叛逆了那領你們出埃及地，救贖你脫離為奴之家的耶和華你們的神，要你離棄耶和華你的神吩咐你走的道路。這樣你就把那惡從你們中間除掉了。

你們就要把他們二人帶到當地的城門口，用石頭打死他們。那少女該死，是因為她雖在城裡，卻沒有呼叫；那男人該死，是因為他玷污了鄰舍的妻子；這樣，你就把那惡從你們中間除掉。

你們就要像他想怎樣對待自己的兄弟一樣對待他，這樣，你就把那惡從你們中間除掉。

在那裡恰巧有一個流氓名叫示巴，是便雅憫人比基利的兒子。他吹號角，說：“我們在大衛的身上無分，在耶西的兒子身上無干，以色列人哪！各回自己的帳棚去吧！”

我聽見另一個聲音從天上來，說：“從那城出來吧，我的子民！免得在她的罪上有分，受她所受的災難；因為她的罪惡滔天，神已經想起她的不義來。

亞瑪謝卻不聽從；這原是出於神，好把他們交在約阿施手裡，因為他們尋求以東的神。

就要把那少女帶到她父家的門口，本城的人要用石頭把她打死，因為她在以色列中作了醜事，在她父家行了淫亂；這樣，你就把那惡從你們中間除去。

“如果發現有人拐帶了以色列人的一個兄弟，把他當作奴隸看待，或是把他賣了，那拐帶人的就要處死；這樣，你就把那惡從你中間除掉。
