他们出到田间去，收取葡萄，榨酒，举行庆祝会，进入他们的神庙吃喝，并且咒诅亚比米勒。

于是二人坐下，一起吃喝；女子的父亲对那人说：“请你答应再过一夜，畅快你的心。”

押沙龙吩咐他的仆人说：“你们注意！暗嫩酒酣耳热的时候，我对你们说：‘击杀暗嫩！’你们就把他杀死。不要惧怕，这不是我吩咐你们的吗？你们要坚强，作勇敢的人。”

看哪！人还是欢喜快乐，宰牛杀羊，吃肉喝酒，说：“我们吃喝吧！因为明天我们就要死了。”

但我跌倒的时候，他们竟聚集一起欢庆；我素不相识的聚集一起攻击我，他们不住地欺凌我。他们以最粗鄙的话讥笑我（按照《马索拉文本》，本句应作“他们好像筵席上狂妄的讥笑者”；现参照《七十士译本》翻译），向我咬牙切齿。

我的仇敌啊！不要因我的遭遇而高兴；我虽然跌倒了，却必起来；我虽然坐在黑暗里，耶和华却必作我的光。我要担当耶和华的忿怒，因为我得罪了他，直到他审断我的案件，为我主持公道；他必把我领出来，到光明中去，我就得见他的公义。我的仇敌看见了，就必蒙羞，就是那曾经对我说：“耶和华你的神在哪里”的人，我必亲眼看见他遭报；那时，他必被人践踏，好像街上的泥土。

过路的人嘲笑他，摇着头说：“你这个想拆毁圣所，三日之内又把它建造起来的，救救自己吧！如果你是神的儿子，从十字架上下来吧！”祭司长、经学家和长老也同样讥笑他，说：“他救了别人，却不能救自己。如果他是以色列的王，现在可以从十字架上下来，我们就信他。他信靠神；如果神喜悦他，就让神现在救他吧，因为他说自己是神的儿子。”和他一同钉十字架的强盗也都这样侮辱他。

驿使奉王命急忙出发，御旨从书珊城颁布出去。那时王与哈曼又同坐共饮，书珊城的居民却非常慌乱。

便．哈达与众王正在帐棚里喝酒，一听见了这话，就对他的臣仆说：“你们列队进攻。”他们就列队进攻那城。

又用荆棘编成冠冕，戴在他的头上，把一根芦苇放在他的右手，跪在他面前讥笑他说：“犹太人的王万岁！”

到了希律生日的那天，希罗底的女儿在众人面前跳舞，希律非常高兴，就起誓答应她，无论求什么都给她。

因为他们迫害你所击打的人，嘲笑你所击伤的人的痛苦。

那人和他的妾，以及他的仆人起来要走的时候，他的岳父，就是那女子的父亲，对他说：“看哪，天快晚了！请再住一夜。看哪，日头西斜了！请在这里再住一夜，畅快你的心；明天可以清早起来，上路回家去。”

伯沙撒喝酒欢畅的时候，下令把他先祖尼布甲尼撒从耶路撒冷圣殿里掠取的金银器皿拿来，好让他和他的大臣、妻妾、妃嫔用这些器皿来喝酒。于是人把从耶路撒冷圣殿里，就是神的殿里，掠来的金器皿拿来；王和他的大臣、妻妾、妃嫔就用这些器皿来喝酒。

现在他们以我为歌曲，我竟成了他们的笑柄。他们厌恶我，远远地离开我，又不住吐唾沫在我脸上，

坐在城门口的人对我议论纷纷，我成了酒徒之歌。

于是他们吐唾沫在他的脸上，用拳头打他，也有人用掌掴他，说：“基督啊，向我们说预言吧！是谁打你呢？”

祭司心里高兴，就拿着以弗得、神像和雕像，来到众人中间。

你的仇敌跌倒的时候，你不要欢喜；他绊倒的时候，你心里不可欢乐。恐怕耶和华看见了，就不喜悦，把他的怒气从仇敌的身上，转到你的身上。

又有些人遭受了戏弄、鞭打，甚至捆锁、监禁；
