他们若说：“跟我们来吧，我们去埋伏杀人，暗害无辜者取乐；

不要相信邻居，不要信赖朋友，即使对你怀中的妻子也要守口如瓶。

后来，以法莲人召集军队，渡过约旦河来到撒分。他们对耶弗他说：“你为什么不召我们一起去攻打亚扪人呢？我们要把你和你的房子一起烧掉。”
