則我攻亞捫人後、安然旋歸時、凡出我家門迓我者必歸主、我必獻為火焚祭、

whatever comes out of the door of my house to meet me when I return in triumph from the Ammonites will be the Lord’s, and I will sacrifice it as a burnt offering.”

所以我現在把他獻給耶和華，他的一生是屬於耶和華的。”於是他就在那裡敬拜耶和華。

並且許願，說：“萬軍之耶和華啊，你若是看顧使女的困苦，記念我，不忘記你的使女，賜給使女一個兒子，我就必把他一生獻給耶和華，不剃他的頭。”

宰牛獻祭，又殺人，獻羊羔為祭，又打折狗的頸項；獻上素祭，又獻上豬血；燒乳香作記念祭，又稱頌虛無之神；他們選擇他們自己的道路，他們的心裡喜悅他們那些可憎惡的事。

那時，撒母耳還是個孩童，束著細麻布的以弗得，在耶和華面前事奉。

掃羅說：“約拿單啊！你必定要死，否則，願神加倍懲罰我。”

所許的若是不潔淨的牲畜，人不能把牠獻給耶和華為供物，就要把牲畜牽到祭司面前；祭司要按牲畜的好壞估價；祭司估價多少，就是多少。

那一天，以色列人處境很窘迫，因為掃羅叫眾人起誓說：“不等到晚上，不等到我向敵人報了仇，就吃食物的，那人必受咒詛。”所以眾民都沒有嘗過食物。

我要帶著燔祭進你的殿，我要向你還我的願，就是在急難的時候，我嘴唇所許的，我口裡所說的。

“一切永屬耶和華的聖物，就是人永獻給耶和華的物，無論是人或是牲畜，或是他承受作產業的田地，都不可以變賣，也不可以贖回；一切永獻之物都是歸耶和華為至聖的。如果有人永獻牲畜作永屬耶和華的聖物，就不可贖回；必須把牠殺死。

“你要告訴以色列人，對他們說：如果人許特別的願，獻身給耶和華，就要依照你的估價獻身價。你應該這樣估價：從二十歲到六十歲的男人，你要按著聖所衡量銀子的標準，估價五百五十克銀子。

妓女所得的酬金，或男妓所得的代價，你不可帶入耶和華你的神的殿裡還任何的願，因為這兩樣都是耶和華你的神厭惡的。
