遂復行曠野、遶以東地及摩押地、由摩押東而來、在亞嫩溪潰列營、並不入摩押境、蓋亞嫩素為摩押之界、

“ Next they traveled through the wilderness, skirted the lands of Edom and Moab, passed along the eastern side of the country of Moab, and camped on the other side of the Arnon. They did not enter the territory of Moab, for the Arnon was its border.

“ Next, they traveled through the desert. They traveled along the borders of the lands of Edom and Moab. They passed along the east side of the country of Moab. They camped on the other side of the Arnon River. They didn’t enter the territory of Moab. The Arnon River was Moab’s border.

“ Then they journeyed through the wilderness and went around the land of Edom and the land of Moab and arrived on the east side of the land of Moab and camped on the other side of the Arnon. But they did not enter the territory of Moab, for the Arnon was the boundary of Moab.

“ Finally, they went around Edom and Moab through the wilderness. They traveled along Moab’s eastern border and camped on the other side of the Arnon River. But they never once crossed the Arnon River into Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.

“ Then they traveled through the wilderness and around the lands of Edom and Moab. They came to the east side of the land of Moab and camped on the other side of the Arnon but did not enter into the territory of Moab, for the Arnon was the boundary of Moab.

Then they went through the wilderness and around the land of Edom and the land of Moab, and came to the east side of the land of Moab, and they camped beyond the Arnon; but they did not enter the territory of Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.

And they went along through the wilderness and bypassed the land of Edom and the land of Moab, came to the east side of the land of Moab, and encamped on the other side of the Arnon. But they did not enter the border of Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.

Then they went through the wilderness, and went around the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and they encamped on the other side of the Arnon; but they came not within the border of Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.

“ Then they traveled through the wilderness and around the lands of Edom and Moab. They came to the east side of the land of Moab and camped on the other side of the Arnon but did not enter into the territory of Moab, for the Arnon was the boundary of Moab.

Then they went along through the wilderness, and compassed the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and pitched on the other side of Arnon, but came not within the border of Moab: for Arnon[ was] the border of Moab.

Then Israel went through the desert and bypassed the land of Edom and the land of Moab. They traveled east of the land of Moab and camped on the other side of the Arnon River; they did not go through Moabite territory( the Arnon was Moab’s border).

Then they went through the wilderness, and went around the land of Edom, and the land of Moab, and came by the east side of the land of Moab, and they encamped on the other side of the Arnon; but they didn’t come within the border of Moab, for the Arnon was the border of Moab.

「之後，我們遵照耶和華的吩咐掉轉頭，沿紅海的路前往曠野，在西珥山區繞行了很久。後來，耶和華對我說，『你們在這山區繞行的日子夠了，現在轉向北方吧。你告訴眾人，你們將經過西珥，那裡住著你們的親屬以掃的子孫。他們懼怕你們，所以要格外謹慎，不要惹他們，因為我已把西珥山賜給以掃作產業，他們的土地，我一寸也不會賜給你們。你們吃的、喝的，都要花錢向他們買。你們的上帝耶和華使你們凡事蒙福，看顧著你們走過這遼闊的曠野，四十年來與你們同在，使你們一無所缺。』「於是，我們繞過我們親屬以掃的子孫所住的西珥，沿亞拉巴的路，經過以拉他、以旬·迦別，向摩押曠野走去。

巴勒聽見巴蘭來了，就來到邊界盡頭、亞嫩河邊的摩押城迎接他。

以色列全體會眾從加低斯出發，來到何珥山。

從加低斯啟行，至以東邊界的何珥山紮營。以色列人離開埃及後的第四十年五月一日，亞倫祭司遵照耶和華的吩咐上了何珥山，並在那裡離世，享年一百二十三歲。在南地的迦南人亞拉得王得知了以色列人要來的消息。以色列人從何珥山啟行，至撒摩拿紮營；從撒摩拿啟行，至普嫩紮營；從普嫩啟行，至阿伯紮營；從阿伯啟行，至摩押邊境的以耶·亞巴琳紮營；

以色列人為了繞過以東，便從何珥山出發，沿通往紅海的路行進。途中，民眾心裡煩躁，埋怨上帝和摩西說：「你們為什麼把我們從埃及帶出來，叫我們死在曠野呢？這裡無糧無水，我們厭惡這難吃的東西！」於是，耶和華派毒蛇進入以色列人中，咬死了許多人。他們來找摩西，說：「我們埋怨耶和華和你，犯了罪，求你向耶和華禱告，好叫這些蛇離開我們。」摩西就為他們禱告。耶和華對摩西說：「你去造一條蛇掛在杆子上，凡被咬的一望這蛇，就可活命。」摩西就造了一條銅蛇，掛在杆子上。被蛇咬的人一望銅蛇，就保住了性命。以色列人繼續前行，在阿伯安營；又從阿伯動身，走到摩押東邊的曠野，在以耶·亞巴琳安營；又從那裡前行，走到撒烈谷安營；又從那裡出發，走到亞嫩河北岸的曠野安營。那裡毗鄰亞摩利人的邊境，亞嫩河是摩押和亞摩利之間的疆界。
