But the Israelites said,“ We have sinned. Deal with us as You see fit; only deliver us today!”

But the Israelites said to the Lord,“ We have sinned. Do with us whatever you think best, but please rescue us now.”

But the Israelites replied to the Lord,“ We have sinned. Do to us what you think is best. But please save us now.”

And the people of Israel said to the Lord,“ We have sinned; do to us whatever seems good to you. Only please deliver us this day.”

But the Israelites pleaded with the Lord and said,“ We have sinned. Punish us as you see fit, only rescue us today from our enemies.”

But the Israelites said,“ We have sinned. Deal with us as you see fit; only rescue us today!”

Then the sons of Israel said to the Lord,“ We have sinned, do to us whatever seems good to You; only please save us this day.”

And the children of Israel said to the Lord,“ We have sinned! Do to us whatever seems best to You; only deliver us this day, we pray.”

And the children of Israel said unto Jehovah, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; only deliver us, we pray thee, this day.

And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.

But the Israelites said to the LORD,“ We have sinned. You do to us as you see fit, but deliver us today!”

The children of Israel said to Yahweh,“ We have sinned! Do to us whatever seems good to you; only deliver us, please, today.”

So Samuel told him everything and did not hide anything from him. Eli responded,“ He is the Lord. He will do what He thinks is good.”

However, if He should say,‘ I do not delight in you,’ then here I am— He can do with me whatever pleases Him.”

Now we are in your hands. Do to us whatever you think is right.”

Be strong! We must prove ourselves strong for our people and for the cities of our God. May the Lord’s will be done.”

But I said: I have been banished from Your sight, yet I will look once more toward Your holy temple.

David’s conscience troubled him after he had taken a census of the troops. He said to the Lord,“ I have sinned greatly in what I’ve done. Now, Lord, because I’ve been very foolish, please take away Your servant’s guilt.”

He will look at men and say,“ I have sinned and perverted what was right; yet I did not get what I deserved.

The one who conceals his sins will not prosper, but whoever confesses and renounces them will find mercy.

Who knows? God may turn and relent; He may turn from His burning anger so that we will not perish.

David responded to Nathan,“ I have sinned against the Lord.” Then Nathan replied to David,“ The Lord has taken away your sin; you will not die.
