以色列人對耶和華說：“我們犯了罪了，你任意對待我們吧；只求你今日拯救我們。”

他们对耶和华说：“我们犯了罪，任你处置我们，只求你今天拯救我们。”

以色列人謂耶和華曰、我干罪矣、任爾隨意待我、惟求今日救援、

以色列族曰、我已犯罪、任爾譴責、惟祈今日得救為幸。

以色列人禱主曰、我已犯罪、任主懲責、惟求主今日救我、

But the Israelites said to the Lord,“ We have sinned. Do with us whatever you think best, but please rescue us now.”

But the Israelites replied to the Lord,“ We have sinned. Do to us what you think is best. But please save us now.”

And the people of Israel said to the Lord,“ We have sinned; do to us whatever seems good to you. Only please deliver us this day.”

But the Israelites pleaded with the Lord and said,“ We have sinned. Punish us as you see fit, only rescue us today from our enemies.”

But the Israelites said,“ We have sinned. Deal with us as you see fit; only rescue us today!”

Then the sons of Israel said to the Lord,“ We have sinned, do to us whatever seems good to You; only please save us this day.”

And the children of Israel said to the Lord,“ We have sinned! Do to us whatever seems best to You; only deliver us this day, we pray.”

And the children of Israel said unto Jehovah, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; only deliver us, we pray thee, this day.

But the Israelites said,“ We have sinned. Deal with us as You see fit; only deliver us today!”

And the children of Israel said unto the LORD, We have sinned: do thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day.

But the Israelites said to the LORD,“ We have sinned. You do to us as you see fit, but deliver us today!”

The children of Israel said to Yahweh,“ We have sinned! Do to us whatever seems good to you; only deliver us, please, today.”

於是撒母耳把一切話都告訴了以利，一句也沒有隱瞞。以利說：“他是耶和華，他看怎麼好，就怎麼行吧。”

他若是說：‘我不喜悅你。’看哪！我就在這裡，他看怎樣好，就怎樣對待我吧！”

現在，你看，我們都在你的手裡，你看怎樣處置我們算為好、算為對，就怎樣行吧。”

你要剛強；為了我們的人民和我們神的眾城鎮，我們要剛強！願耶和華成全他看為美的事。”

我說：‘我雖從你眼前被趕逐，我仍要仰望你的聖殿。’

大衛數點了人民以後，良心一直不安，於是對耶和華說：“我作了這事，犯了大罪。耶和華啊！現在求你除去你僕人的罪孽，因為我作了非常糊塗的事！”

他在人面前歌唱，說：‘我犯了罪，顛倒是非，但我沒有受到應得的報應。

遮掩自己過犯的，必不亨通；承認並離棄過犯的，必蒙憐憫。

或者神回心轉意，不發烈怒，使我們不致滅亡。’”

大衛對迦得說：“我非常為難，我們情願落在耶和華的手裡，因為他有豐盛的憐憫。不要讓我落在人的手裡。”

大衛對拿單說：“我得罪了耶和華了。”拿單對大衛說：“耶和華已經除去了你的罪，你必不至於死。

有人對神說：‘我忍受了管教，不再有敗壞的行為了，我所看不到的求你指教我，我若行了罪孽，必不再行’。
