永恆主對以色列人說：『我豈沒有拯救了你們脫離埃及人和亞摩利人、亞捫人、和非利士人麼？

耶和华对以色列人说：“我岂没有救过你们脱离埃及人、亚摩利人、亚扪人，和非利士人吗？

耶和华对以色列人说：“我岂没有救你们脱离埃及人、亚摩利人、亚扪人和非利士人吗？

耶和華諭以色列族曰、我豈非拯爾於埃及人、亞摩哩人、亞捫人、非利士人者乎。

主諭以色列人曰、我豈未曾救爾於伊及人、亞摩利人、亞捫人、非利士人乎、

The Lord replied,“ When the Egyptians, the Amorites, the Ammonites, the Philistines,

The Lord replied,“ The Egyptians and Amorites treated you badly. So did the Ammonites and Philistines.

And the Lord said to the people of Israel,“ Did I not save you from the Egyptians and from the Amorites, from the Ammonites and from the Philistines?

The Lord replied,“ Did I not rescue you from the Egyptians, the Amorites, the Ammonites, the Philistines,

The LORD said to the Israelites,“ When the Egyptians, Amorites, Ammonites, Philistines,

And the Lord said to the sons of Israel,“ Did I not save you from the Egyptians, the Amorites, the sons of Ammon, and the Philistines?

So the Lord said to the children of Israel,“ Did I not deliver you from the Egyptians and from the Amorites and from the people of Ammon and from the Philistines?

And Jehovah said unto the children of Israel, Did not I save you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

The Lord said to the Israelites,“ When the Egyptians, Amorites, Ammonites, Philistines,

And the LORD said unto the children of Israel,[ Did] not[ I deliver you] from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

The LORD said to the Israelites,“ Did I not deliver you from Egypt, the Amorites, the Ammonites, the Philistines,

Yahweh said to the children of Israel,“ Didn’t I save you from the Egyptians, and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon, and from the Philistines?

當那日、永恆主拯救了以色列人脫離埃及人的手；以色列人看見埃及人都死在海邊。

以笏之後、有亞拿的兒子珊迦；他用趕牛棍子擊殺了非利士人六百人：他也拯救了以色列人。

以色列人差遣使者去見亞摩利人的王西宏說：『求你容我們從你的地經過；我們不偏入田地和葡萄園，也不喝井裏的水；我們只走王家大道，直到過了你的地界。』西宏不讓以色列人從他的地界經過，反而聚集人民出來到曠野、要對以色列人接戰；他到了雅雜、要和以色列人交戰。以色列人用刀擊殺了他，取得他的地，從亞嫩河到雅博河，直到亞捫人那裏，亞捫人的邊界雅謝。以色列人奪取了這一切城市；以色列人也住在亞摩利人的一切城市、在希實本與希實本所有的廂鎮。

因着信、以色列人過蘆葦海，像過旱地；埃及人一試，就被吞滅了。

從前雅各到了埃及，埃及人苦害他們；後來你們列祖向永恆主哀呼，永恆主就差遣摩西、亞倫領你們列祖從埃及出來，又使他們在這地方居住。

他擊殺了許多國的人，殺戮了一大批的王：就是亞摩利王西宏，巴珊王噩，和迦南列國的王，

於是地方太平四十年。基納斯的兒子俄陀聶死了。以色列人又行了永恆主所看為壞的事，永恆主就使摩押王伊磯倫強盛，來攻擊以色列人，因為以色列人行了永恆主所看為壞的事。伊磯倫聚集了亞捫人和亞瑪力人，來攻擊以色列人，大家佔據了棕樹城。於是以色列人服事了摩押王伊磯倫十八年。以色列人向永恆主哀呼，永恆主就為他們興起了一位拯救者、便雅憫人基拉的兒子以笏，一個能用左手的人。以色列人由他經手送貢物給摩押王伊磯倫。

然而他為了他自己之名的緣故還拯救了他們，為要使人知道他的大能；他叱責了蘆葦海，海便乾了；他就領了他們經過深處，如過牧野。他拯救了他們脫離恨惡者的手，贖救了他們脫離仇敵手中。水淹沒了他們的敵人，一個也沒有存留。

永恆主的使者從吉甲上到波金，說：『我領你們從埃及上來，帶你們到我向你們列祖起誓應許的地；我又說：「我永遠不違犯我的約、同你們立的約；你們呢、也不可和這地的居民立約；他們的祭壇你們要拆毁。」你們竟沒有聽我的話；為甚麼你們這樣行呢？因此我又說：「我必不將他們從你們面前攆出去；他們必成了你們肋下的荊棘；他們的神必餌誘你們入於網羅。」』

於是以色列人將噩和他的兒子們跟他的眾民擊殺了，連一個殘存的人都沒有給他剩下；就取得他的地。

『你曾看見我們列祖在埃及所受的困苦，垂聽他們在蘆葦海邊的哀呼，你就施行神迹奇事責罰法老和他所有的臣僕以及他國內的眾民，因為你知道他們怎樣以狂妄傲慢待我們的列祖；你就為自己立了名聲、正如今日一樣。你又在我們的列祖面前使海裂開，讓他們在海中乾地上走過去，將追趕他們的人丟在深海，如同石頭丟在浩蕩之水中。

他在埃及地擊殺了一切長子，在含的帳棚中擊殺了他們強壯時的初生子。他卻領出了自己的人民、如羊一般，引導了他們如羊羣於曠野。他帶領了他們平安穩妥、而無恐懼；而他們的仇敵、海卻給淹沒了。
