Many will see and fear and put their trust in the Lord.

But I will look to the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me.

The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the person who seeks Him.It is good to wait quietly for deliverance from the Lord.

Besides this, knowing the time, it is already the hour for you to wake up from sleep, for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed.The night is nearly over, and the daylight is near, so let us discard the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

not staying away from our worship meetings, as some habitually do, but encouraging each other, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.For if we deliberately sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins,but a terrifying expectation of judgment and the fury of a fire about to consume the adversaries.If anyone disregards Moses’ law, he dies without mercy, based on the testimony of two or three witnesses.How much worse punishment do you think one will deserve who has trampled on the Son of God, regarded as profane the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and insulted the Spirit of grace?For we know the One who has said, Vengeance belongs to Me, I will repay, and again, The Lord will judge His people.It is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God!Remember the earlier days when, after you had been enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings.Sometimes you were publicly exposed to taunts and afflictions, and at other times you were companions of those who were treated that way.For you sympathized with the prisoners and accepted with joy the confiscation of your possessions, knowing that you yourselves have a better and enduring possession.So don’t throw away your confidence, which has a great reward.For you need endurance, so that after you have done God’s will, you may receive what was promised.For yet in a very little while, the Coming One will come and not delay.

I wait for Your salvation, Lord.

For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it testifies about the end and will not lie. Though it delays, wait for it, since it will certainly come and not be late.

May the Lord direct your hearts to God’s love and Christ’s endurance.

But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with patience.

and to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead— Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath.

May He make your hearts blameless in holiness before our God and Father at the coming of our Lord Jesus with all His saints. Amen.

He who testifies about these things says,“ Yes, I am coming quickly.” Amen! Come, Lord Jesus!
