所以弟兄們，你們當恆久忍耐，直到主的來臨。看哪，農夫等待著田地裡寶貴的果實，為此恆久忍耐，直到果實得著秋雨春雨。

兄弟乎、宜恆忍以待主臨、試觀農人冀地之嘉產、恆忍以待、至得前後之雨、

兄弟當忍、待主降臨、如地產嘉穀、農夫忍待、望秋霖春雨、

凡我兄弟、應安心忍耐以俟主來。夫農夫之望收穫嘉穀、必須弗助弗忘、以待秋霖春雨之膏澤也。

Be patient, then, brothers and sisters, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop, patiently waiting for the autumn and spring rains.

Dear brothers and sisters, be patient as you wait for the Lord’s return. Consider the farmers who patiently wait for the rains in the fall and in the spring. They eagerly look for the valuable harvest to ripen.

既有若此為證者、如雲之多、圍繞我儕、則當解諸重負、及易纏我之罪、以恆忍、趨我前當趨之場、仰望耶穌、即始立我信而終成之者、彼思所將得之樂、不以凌辱為意、受十字架之苦、今坐於天主寶座之右、彼忍惡人如此之橫逆、爾當思之、免爾疲倦喪膽、

郇邑之民、當因主爾之天主、欣喜歡樂、因主賜爾及時之雨、為爾降春雨秋霖、與前日無異、

爾亦當恆忍、堅固爾心、蓋主之降臨伊邇、兄弟乎、勿相怨、恐被定罪、審判者已立於門前、

則主必賜及時之雨、春雨秋雨、降於爾地、使爾可收穫穀酒與油、得食而飽、亦使爾郊野有草萊、爾牲畜得食、

我儕行善勿倦、若不懈怠、屆期必穫矣、

其心不自謂曰、我儕當敬畏主我之天主、主隨時賜雨、即春雨秋雨、為我定穡期、永存不廢、

我儕賴聖神、而由信有望、俟得稱義、

蓋我儕所望所喜所誇之冕何哉、豈非爾曹於我主耶穌基督降臨時、得立於其前乎、

乃諸事自表為天主之僕、即多忍、患難、窮乏、困苦、撲責、監獄、擾亂、勤勞、乏睡、乏食、

亞伯拉罕恆忍以待、故得所許、

蓋猶電發自東而閃至西、人子降臨亦若是、

凡恆於行善、求尊榮及無壞者、則報以永生、

我儕當識主、當勉力識主、主必顯祐、如晨光之出、必臨我若雨、若時雨滋潤土壤、

又循其榮之權能、使爾凡事有大力、能恆忍寛容而喜樂、

是以爾亦當預備、因爾不意之時、人子忽至、

我告爾、必速伸其冤矣、但人子臨時、豈見世有信德乎、○

所許主復臨之言、應驗安在、自列祖去世去世原文作寢以來、萬物如故、與創造之始無異、

亦堅定爾心、至我主耶穌基督偕其諸聖者降臨時、得在我父天主前、為聖潔無可指摘者、

秋兩之時、當祈主降雨、惟主造電、為民沛下甘霖、使田間菜蔬、為人而生、

我儕得救在望、既得所望、則不復望、人所已得者、豈猶望之乎、若所望尚未得、則忍以待之、

在吾父天主前、恆念爾曹、以信而行、以愛而勞者、因望我主耶穌基督而忍耐、

昔所書之經、皆為訓我而書、使我儕由經學忍得慰而有望、

時將見人子以大權大榮、乘雲而來、

遺沃壤者、指人聽道、以善良之心守之、且恆忍以結實、○

使爾於諸恩賜一無缺欠、佇望我主耶穌基督顯現、
