You have condemned and murdered the innocent one, who was not opposing you.

You have judged and murdered people who aren’t guilty. And they weren’t even opposing you.

You have condemned and murdered the righteous person. He does not resist you.

You have condemned and killed innocent people, who do not resist you.

You have condemned, you have murdered the righteous, who does not resist you.

You have condemned and put to death the righteous person; he offers you no resistance.

You have condemned, you have murdered the just; he does not resist you.

Ye have condemned, ye have killed the righteous one; he doth not resist you.

You have condemned— you have murdered— the righteous man; he does not resist you.

You have condemned and murdered the righteous person, although he does not resist you.

You have condemned and you have murdered the righteous one. He doesn’t resist you.

“ He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.”When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly. (niv)

This is the passage of Scripture the eunuch was reading:“ He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he did not open his mouth. (niv)

and he went back inside the palace.“ Where do you come from?” he asked Jesus, but Jesus gave him no answer.“ Do you refuse to speak to me?” Pilate said.“ Don’t you realize I have power either to free you or to crucify you?”Jesus answered,“ You would have no power over me if it were not given to you from above. Therefore the one who handed me over to you is guilty of a greater sin.” (niv)

But Jesus answered,“ No more of this!” And he touched the man’s ear and healed him.Then Jesus said to the chief priests, the officers of the temple guard, and the elders, who had come for him,“ Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come with swords and clubs?Every day I was with you in the temple courts, and you did not lay a hand on me. But this is your hour— when darkness reigns.” (niv)

“ Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know.This man was handed over to you by God’s deliberate plan and foreknowledge; and you, with the help of wicked men, put him to death by nailing him to the cross. But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to them the other cheek also. (niv)

You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. (niv)

You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you.You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this. (niv)

who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to everyonein their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved. In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last. (niv)

And,“ But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” (niv)

“ Then he said:‘ The God of our ancestors has chosen you to know his will and to see the Righteous One and to hear words from his mouth. (niv)

then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.Jesus is“‘ the stone you builders rejected, which has become the cornerstone.’Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (niv)

Therefore I am sending you prophets and sages and teachers. Some of them you will kill and crucify; others you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town.And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. They will put you out of the synagogue; in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God.They will do such things because they have not known the Father or me. (niv)

When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that instead an uproar was starting, he took water and washed his hands in front of the crowd.“ I am innocent of this man’s blood,” he said.“ It is your responsibility!”All the people answered,“ His blood is on us and on our children!” (niv)

But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the crowd to ask for Barabbas and to have Jesus executed. (niv)

Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?” (niv)

“ But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other,‘ This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and take his inheritance.’ (niv)
