淫亂者乎、爾豈不知友於世、乃敵上帝乎、凡欲為世之友者、自為上帝敵也、

淫亂之男女乎、豈不知狗世之情欲者、則逆上帝、凡狗世之情欲、則其違逆上帝也明矣、

淫亂之男女乎、豈不知愛世即惡天主、凡欲與世為友者、即與天主為敵也、

嗚呼、爾亦不淑也已！豈不知與世為友、即與天主為仇乎？閹然媚世者、不能取悅於天主矣。

You adulterous people, don’t you know that friendship with the world means enmity against God? Therefore, anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

You are not faithful to God. Don’t you know that to be a friend of the world is to hate God? So anyone who chooses to be the world’s friend becomes God’s enemy.

You adulterers! Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God.

因為顧念罪惡本性的人與上帝為敵，不服從上帝的律法，也無力服從。

如果你們屬於這個世界，世人一定會愛你們。可是你們不屬於這世界，我已經把你們揀選出來，因此世人恨你們。

我現在是要贏得人的贊同嗎？還是要贏得上帝的贊同？難道我是要討好人嗎？如果我仍舊要討好人，我就不是基督的奴僕了。

「一個人不能服侍兩位主人，因為他不是恨這位、愛那位，就是重這位、輕那位。你們不能又事奉上帝，又崇拜金錢。

在父上帝看來，純潔無瑕的虔誠是指照顧患難中的孤兒寡婦，並且不讓自己被世俗玷污。

我已將你的道賜給他們，世人恨他們，因為他們像我一樣不屬於這個世界。

恨我的，也恨我的父。我如果沒有在他們當中行過空前的神蹟，他們就沒有罪了。然而，他們親眼看見了，竟然還恨我和我的父。

如果我們還與上帝爲敵的時候，尚且可以藉著上帝兒子的死亡與上帝和好，和好後的我們豈不更要藉著祂兒子的生命得到拯救嗎？

一個邪惡淫亂的世代想看神蹟，可是除了約拿的神蹟以外，再沒有神蹟給他們看。」於是耶穌離開他們走了。

耶和華對何西阿說：「你要再去愛那個另有新歡的淫婦，像耶和華愛以色列人一樣愛她。儘管他們祭拜別的神明，喜愛葡萄餅，耶和華仍然愛他們。」

耶穌回答說：「一個邪惡淫亂的世代想看神蹟，可是除了約拿先知的神蹟以外，再沒有神蹟給他們看。

世人不會恨你們，只會恨我，因為我指證他們行為邪惡。

我要使你和女人結仇，你的後代和女人的後代也要彼此為仇，女人的後代必傷你的頭，你必傷他的腳跟。」

真希望我在曠野有棲身之處，以便遠離我的同胞，因為他們是一群不忠不貞之徒。

你見了盜賊就與他同流合污，又喜歡與淫亂的人交往。

那些遠離你的人必滅亡，你必滅絕不忠於你的人。

至於那些反對我作王的仇敵，把他們捉回來，在我面前處決。』」

耶和華說：「你們這些巫婆的兒子，姦夫和妓女的孩子，上前來吧！

「你去告訴耶路撒冷人，『耶和華說，我記得你們年輕時對我充滿熱情，愛我如新娘愛新郎，跟隨我穿越曠野，穿越不毛之地。

耶和華啊，你的手必尋索你的敵人，你用右手搜出所有恨你的人。
