And the scripture was fulfilled that says,“ Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.

That is what Scripture means where it says,“ Abraham believed God. God accepted Abraham because he believed. So his faith made him right with God.”( Genesis 15:6) And that’s not all. God called Abraham his friend.

亞伯蘭信耶和華、耶和華遂稱之為義。

昔我眷顧亞伯拉罕、簡其後裔、以色列族雅各家、為我臣僕。

昔有人居斯土、上帝啟以色列族而驅之、亞伯拉罕為上帝所眷顧、遂以斯土錫其苗裔、俾為恆業。

耶和華與摩西晤對、如人與友相語、摩西歸營、惟嫩之子約書亞。為摩西從者、弗離於幕。

有二盜同釘、一左一右、

耶穌曰、爾聞是經、今日應矣、

願得在上帝前、明辨其冤、如與同儕言者然、

經云、工師所棄之石、成為屋隅首石、

經諭法老云、我使爾崛興、以顯我能、我名播揚於天下、

上帝知將以義稱異邦人之信者、故預傳福音與亞伯拉罕云、兆民將藉爾受福、如經所載、是信主者、得與信主之亞伯拉罕並受其福矣、若夫徒恃法者、服咒詛也、經云、不恆遵律法所載而行之者、服咒詛也、

上帝所預知之民、不拒之、豈不知經載以利亞龥上帝、訟以色列人云、

曰、然則何日得稱義耶、受割之後歟、抑受割之先歟、非後也、乃先也、亞伯拉罕受割禮之號、即未受割、信而稱義之印證、如是、則亞伯拉罕可為未受割、信而稱義者之父、

兄弟乎、昔聖神以大闢口、預言引執耶穌之猶大、其經已應、

但經明言萬人有罪、惟信耶穌基督、可得所許之福、

諸經本上帝所默示、有益於教誨、督責、正己、學義、

經云、屋隅要石、為我所推選所器重、置於郇城、使信者無愧怍、
