Every warrior’s boot used in battle and every garment rolled in blood will be destined for burning, will be fuel for the fire.

Every fighting man’s boot that he wore in battle will be burned up. So will every piece of clothing covered with blood. All of them will be thrown into the fire.

For every boot of the tramping warrior in battle tumult and every garment rolled in blood will be burned as fuel for the fire.

The boots of the warrior and the uniforms bloodstained by war will all be burned. They will be fuel for the fire.

For every trampling boot of battle and the bloodied garments of war will be burned as fuel for the fire.

For every boot of the marching warrior in the roar of battle, And cloak rolled in blood, will be for burning, fuel for the fire.

For every warrior’s sandal from the noisy battle, And garments rolled in blood, Will be used for burning and fuel of fire.

For all the armor of the armed man in the tumult, and the garments rolled in blood, shall be for burning, for fuel of fire.

For the trampling boot of battle and the bloodied garments of war will be burned as fuel for the fire.

For every battle of the warrior[ is] with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but[ this] shall be with burning[ and] fuel of fire.

Indeed every boot that marches and shakes the earth and every garment dragged through blood is used as fuel for the fire.

For all the armor of the armed man in the noisy battle, and the garments rolled in blood, will be for burning, fuel for the fire.

我耶和華必涖臨、若烈焰之騰、乘大輅、若颺風之疾、發震怒、加譴責、火燎於前、以焚仇敵。蓋我耶和華降罰億兆、使蹈鋒刃、罹火災、殺戮者不可勝數、

不識上帝、不服吾主耶穌基督福音者、以火爇而譴責之、

夫我以水施洗、俾爾悔改、但後我來者、更勝於我、其履我亦不堪提、彼將以聖神及火施洗爾、

若車轟轟、震越山巔、若火焚稈、熚爆有聲、譬彼勁敵、列陳以戰、

鞭聲遠聞、車輪轟轟、馬騰驤、車馳驅、

斷弓折戈、車爇以火、使在寰宇、人不興戎兮、

主耶和華曰、我所言之日、今已屆矣、事已驗矣、以色列眾邑之民、必出取敵之干戈弓矢杖梃、用以為炊、歷至七年、毋庸拾薪於田、伐木於林、惟燒器械、昔則見攘於人、今則攘人、昔則見擄於人、今則擄人、我耶和華已言之矣。

自古以來、欲罰亞述國王在彼陀法、為備坎阱、其深無量、其廣無垠、積薪無數、望之若臺、焚之以火、耶和華之氣若硫磺、使烈燄四熾焉。

彼既涖臨、顯著斯土、誰能恆立、彼若鍜金之火、浣布之鹻、彼將坐而鍜銀、滌利未族之污、煉之若金銀、使無不義、然後獻禮於耶和華、

故萬有之主將使肥健之人、變為瘦瘠、尊榮之輩、爇以烈火、以色列族至聖之主、輝光遠燭、勢若焰火、一日間必毀亞述人、若焚荊棘、

掃羅與祭司相語時、非利士人營中、號呼之聲、益覺振動。掃羅告祭司曰、姑止爾為。

於是郇山之室、民會之處、榮光焜耀、耶和華必加護衛、晝蔽以雲、夜燭以火、

祭司悉焚於壇、是為燔祭、用以享我。○

我將示奇事於天、異兆於地、若血若火若烟、

祭司悉焚於壇、為燔祭以享、取其馨香、而奉事我。

遂見火焰如舌、歧而止各人上、

萬有之主耶和華、核數軍實、使臨戰鬥、岡巒之上、國民和集、威聲遠振。

是夕耶和華之使者、出在亞述營、擊其士卒十八萬五千、詰朝、惟見尸骸而已。

驊騮驕驕、車輪轟轟、聞其聲者無不喪膽、父不顧其子、
