因其負重之軛、撻背之杖、暴者之梃、爾已折之、若於米甸之日、

蓋民所負之重軛、所加於其肩之任、並督之之杖、主悉折斷、如罰米甸之日、

For as in the day of Midian’s defeat, you have shattered the yoke that burdens them, the bar across their shoulders, the rod of their oppressor.

You set Israel free from Midian long ago. In the same way, you will break the heavy yoke that weighs Israel down. You will break the wooden beams that are on their shoulders. You will break the rods of those who strike them down.

For the yoke of his burden, and the staff for his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, you have broken as on the day of Midian.

For you will break the yoke of their slavery and lift the heavy burden from their shoulders. You will break the oppressor’s rod, just as you did when you destroyed the army of Midian.

For you have shattered their oppressive yoke and the rod on their shoulders, the staff of their oppressor, just as you did on the day of Midian.

亞述軍至我地、陟我岡、我必覆亡之、蹂躪之、脫民於苛役、去民之重軛、

我萬有之主耶和華、將使人擊之、有如疇昔在阿立磐擊米田、在海濱擊埃及人然、當是時爾可弛其負荷、去其仔肩、若牛甚肥健、而折其軛。

我必折爾軛、解爾結、

以義爾邦、無人虐遇、毋庸畏葸、四境不驚、

東方人之軍旅、死者十有二萬、其餘一萬五千、從西巴撒門拿在迦谷。宴然無懼、其田由挪巴約庇哈東、從居幕者之道、往擊其營。西巴撒門拿奔、其田追之、擒米田二王、而敗其軍。

萬有之主耶和華曰、予當斯時、將折懸項之軛、斷其縶維、不許異邦人役爾。

昔亞述人擊民、耶和華必以雷殛之、昔耶和華以亞述人為杖箠、以擊斯民、厥後亞述之人、戰鬥敗績、民將鼓琴彈瑟不已、

以色列族蒙耶和華援手、免於患難、不復觳觫、脫於賤役、遂作歌以刺巴比倫王、歌曰、昔虐遇人、強取人金者、今已絕矣。

使兇暴者自食其肉、自飲其血、若醉以醇酒、我耶和華為雅各家全能之救主、天下無不知焉。

毋許惡者挾制義人、至於日久、恐彼義人、陷於罪戾兮。

我耶和華爾之上帝、導爾出埃及、脫爾於賤役、毀爾所負之軛、使爾徑行直遂。

爾將恃刃以圖生、服役於爾弟、爾若遨遊於外、可脫其軛、弛爾仔肩。○

請爾令其敗北、若米田人、爰及西西喇耶賓、在基順之溪濱、敗亡於隱托耳、尸腐為糞壤兮、願喪其民牧、若阿立西邑、戕其君長、若西巴撒門拿兮、

以色列族復行惡於耶和華前、耶和華以之付於米田族手、凡歷七年。既為米田族所敗、遂營山窟居巖洞、扼其險要。以色列族耕稼既畢、米田亞馬力與東方之人、咸來攻擊、建置營壘、凡土所產、悉被斬艾、至於迦薩。以色列族食物無存、牛羊與驢亦盡。敵與駱駝、牲畜、帷幕、如蝗眾多、不可勝數、既至、欲滅斯土。以色列族、緣米田人故、匱乏特甚、呼籲耶和華。

三百人吹角、耶和華使遍營之人、自相攻擊、敵眾奔至西哩勒之伯示大、又至亞伯米何拉界之大八。以色列族之納大利、亞設、馬拿西支派俱集、追襲米田人。其田遣人遍告於以法蓮山、曰、汝來攻米田人、乘其未至、取伯巴喇及約但津。以法蓮族集其眾、取伯巴喇及約但津。擒米田二伯、阿立、西邑、殺阿立在阿立磐、殺西邑在西邑醡、取其首級。攜至約但外、遞於其田、仍率其眾、襲米田人之後。

我震怒斯民、使亞述人、為杖箠以擊之、亞述人亦有禍矣、

昔耶和華震怒厥民、以其地付爾、俾染污俗、乃爾不以矜憫為懷、使其父老、負戴重軛、

我耶和華肇造爾邦、張舒穹蒼、奠定寰宇、爾何為忘予、恆畏強暴之人、恐其烈怒、滅爾邦家、然彼怒雖烈、焉能有為。
