Bind up this testimony of warning and seal up God’s instruction among my disciples.

Tie up and seal this warning that the Lord said to you through me. Preserve among my followers what he taught you through me.

Bind up the testimony; seal the teaching among my disciples.

Tie up the scroll as legal evidence, seal the official record of God’s instructions and give it to my followers.

Wrap up the covenant. Seal the law among my disciples.

But you, Daniel, keep this prophecy a secret; seal up the book until the time of the end, when many will rush here and there, and knowledge will increase.”

He testifies about what he has seen and heard, but how few believe what he tells them!Anyone who accepts his testimony can affirm that God is true.

Since we believe human testimony, surely we can believe the greater testimony that comes from God. And God has testified about his Son.All who believe in the Son of God know in their hearts that this testimony is true. Those who don’t believe this are actually calling God a liar because they don’t believe what God has testified about his Son.And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have God’s Son does not have life.

I will teach all your children, and they will enjoy great peace.

But one of the twenty four elders said to me,“ Stop weeping! Look, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the heir to David’s throne, has won the victory. He is worthy to open the scroll and its seven seals.”

Then I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said,“ No, don’t worship me. I am a servant of God, just like you and your brothers and sisters who testify about their faith in Jesus. Worship only God. For the essence of prophecy is to give a clear witness for Jesus.”

The Lord is a friend to those who fear him. He teaches them his covenant.

Then I saw a scroll in the right hand of the one who was sitting on the throne. There was writing on the inside and the outside of the scroll, and it was sealed with seven seals.

Then the Lord said to me,“ Make a large signboard and clearly write this name on it: Maher shalal hash baz.”I asked Uriah the priest and Zechariah son of Jeberekiah, both known as honest men, to witness my doing this.

Later, when Jesus was alone with the twelve disciples and with the others who were gathered around, they asked him what the parables meant.He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secret of the Kingdom of God. But I use parables for everything I say to outsiders,

My advice is wholesome. There is nothing devious or crooked in it.My words are plain to anyone with understanding, clear to those with knowledge.

But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.

Later, when he was alone with his disciples in the house, they brought up the subject again.

Moses was certainly faithful in God’s house as a servant. His work was an illustration of the truths God would reveal later.

Then Jehoiada brought out Joash, the king’s son, placed the crown on his head, and presented him with a copy of God’s laws. They anointed him and proclaimed him king, and everyone clapped their hands and shouted,“ Long live the king!”

In fact, in his public ministry he never taught without using parables; but afterward, when he was alone with his disciples, he explained everything to them.

These are the laws, decrees, and regulations that Moses gave to the people of Israel when they left Egypt,

But he said,“ Go now, Daniel, for what I have said is kept secret and sealed until the time of the end.Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined by these trials. But the wicked will continue in their wickedness, and none of them will understand. Only those who are wise will know what it means.

Look to God’s instructions and teachings! People who contradict his word are completely in the dark.

When the seven thunders spoke, I was about to write. But I heard a voice from heaven saying,“ Keep secret what the seven thunders said, and do not write it down.”

“ A period of seventy sets of seven has been decreed for your people and your holy city to finish their rebellion, to put an end to their sin, to atone for their guilt, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to confirm the prophetic vision, and to anoint the Most Holy Place.

He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not.

All the future events in this vision are like a sealed book to them. When you give it to those who can read, they will say,“ We can’t read it because it is sealed.”When you give it to those who cannot read, they will say,“ We don’t know how to read.”

“ Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches. To everyone who is victorious I will give some of the manna that has been hidden away in heaven. And I will give to each one a white stone, and on the stone will be engraved a new name that no one understands except the one who receives it.
